Looking at the inside my wedding ring, I see that it's engraved   Love Diane   4-28-84     omg!  :o that means  tomorrow is our 25th Anniversary.     We'll be leaving tomorrow morning for 3 nights in Las Vegas. I've planned a couple of romantic dinners & got us some great tickets to see Donny & Marie and the Beatle's LOVE Cirque du Solei.  I gotta tell ya, Lady Di deserve's special awards for sticking by my side for 25 years. she's a wonderful wife, a trusted & loyal friend, and a fantastic mom too. I sure hope she has a great time. Since 25 years is the silver annvrsry, I got her a silver bracelet with amethyst hearts as a gift. amethyst is my birthstone so it's symbolic of my heart being given to her. I also got her a cd box set Romancing the 70's which I already gave her and she loved it. anyways, we'll be back on Friday and hopefully I'll have some pics to post of our first getaway  (just the two of us) since Julie was born 20 years ago.  Take it Easy  8)

thanks Jack. we knew each other about 5 years. funny thing is, Diane's brother was one of my best friends and when I'd call to talk to him, if he wasn't home, me and her would talk for hours and that's how it got started. I'll be happy to provide pictures, but the 25th annv video is going in my private vault  ;D

......anyways, we're back and we're both still high from the experience. our anniversary trip to Las Vegas exceeded expectations. I know Lady Di was very pleased and happy that  everything went so well. we were about 10 feet away from Donny and Marie Osmond at the show which was spectacular and we were 3 rows from the stage at Beatles Love Cirque du Solei last night which was stupendous.  every meal was superb and the weather was perfect. It couldn't have been better.  so now we're home and back to reality  ::)
