A friend of my dads bought my dad a bottle of vodka. I asked my dad's friend to bring 2 bottles, one that he bought for my dad, and another one filled just with water.

When he gave the gift to my dad (it was the one filled with water of course)..I quickly ran to the bottle and said  "Damn, I love Vodka!!!!". I opened the bottle quickly and started chugging from it..I went through about 1/3 of the bottle in about 10 seconds and my parents looked at me in shock. Their 14 year old was an alcoholic?

I then passed the bottle to my dad to take a shot...eventually he said "this is water!!" and was silent.
I really got him.  ;D

that's pretty good. last year the inthe00s mods pulled a great one on all of us here, making it look like the board had been hacked and everyone's name was changed. at first people were frantic trying to figure out who was who. a few others were in on it. it was fun & chaotic.

I made the account "H4XX0R" or something like early March, and let it sit until AFD when I made the announcement on that account

My plan was to open ~150 windows at once, enter the changed names, and name change everyone nearly simultaneously. I didn't realize that 32 was the apparent limit for windows XP, so changing them all took a bit longer than expected.

Of course, people popped in here and there on AFD '08 and they were changed on the spot. I think it took close to three weeks to get the last name changed back (Hawk's wife, iirc).

It took almost the whole month of March brainstorming names to get what we had last year.

Great prank this year, too. Especially what Chucky did with Amiright, buts hats off to Tam and Bobo as well.
