Yeah, his last post said that his main computer had blown a fuse; I don't know if his laptop was affected or what. Nor did he indicate how he was feeling physically, or if he was going on a trip or anything like that. :-\\

Maybe the laptop is only a temp fix and he is waiting for his computer to be fixed.

The laptop belongs to his son and Philip sometimes borrows it. I would imagine his son has need of it which is why Philip hasn't been online.

His other computer is his son's laptop I believe.
He may not have access - but I am going to email him to see if I get any sort of reply. ;)

if I had the time, I'd search his posts because I'm sure he said somewhere that one of their mothers was ill.  his PC blew a fuse but he had the laptop as backup.

It's been almost a week and we still don't see him. :-\\

Wherever he is right now, I hope he's doing okay.

His presence is sorely missed.  It's weird how one becomes attached to total strangers on a message board, they become your friends and people you admire (even if you'll never meet.)  There has been a few people that I've grown fond of and miss them if they (or I) are not here.

Yes we do.  He already told us his computer needs to be replaced.  And he is out of work so probably has to save up to get a replacement.

That and other things, but I have always thought that there was something about February.  Quite a few of our fellow posters have had some problems unrelated to the economy.  Just life getting in the way.  It's all stuff that will be sorted out, but it seems that a lot of things happened at once.
