back on topic...I just checked in our library (bathroom) and here's another magazine my wife gets from her mom.  Women's World

I used to buy a monthly console/games mag for the Playstation 2. Collected every single issue for the best part of 3 years. Then they got in this new editor and he tried completely re-designing the entire magazine and made it crap so I stopped collecting. That and the fact that during the time i'd been collecting it, i'd only bought a handful of games

Oh yeah ... no, I don't actually subscribe to ANY magazines. However, I do like to browse through PC magazines ... so, currently have issues of  'apc' ... ( 'Australian PC' magazine )  ... out from the library.  Useful for catching up on some things I might've missed / the DVD's that comes with it ... for various software downloads.  8)

I haven't bought a magazine subscription in over a decade....the last one I can recall was Seventeen, and I cancelled that subscription in 1996. I rarely even buy magazines off newsstands anymore, either.

I used to subscribe to some video game and technology magazines like Playstation Magazine or PC World, now I just read articles on the internet.

I never subscribed, but I used to buy issues of GAMEPRO Magazine in the 90s.  Back in the day, GAMEPRO was the #1 video game magazine.  There was even a short-lived TV series based on the magazine that was hosted by J.D. Roth and Brennan Howard (I didn't even have to look those names up either.  That show is still fresh in my mind lol)

Actually ... there WAS a Christmas calendar ..... that used to ... uhm ... amuse me .... back in the early 70's ? Tried to find it on the net .... but ...

I'm not entirely certain ... coulda been from the late 60's to mid 70's .... and I don't even remember if it was Penthouse, Playboy .... or maybe even 'Mayfair' ?

Don't know what became of it .... but for old  times sake /sentimental reasons (and a possible wank    :o  read ) ... even though it was only VERY  SOFT porn ... I wouldn't mind seeing it again.  Lost to the sands of time.   :(

Last year I had a subscription to Family Circle.  I haven't renewed it because the articles tend to be repetitive.  There's only so many articles on reducing clutter I can stand ignoring!

Jess - I didn't know there was such a thing as Archaeology magazine.  I will have to check it out.  Being an Archaeologist was my childhood dream.  I used to subscribe to Smithsonian magazine thinking it would be that sort of thing, but it wasn't.


I subscribe to Glamour, Good Housekeeping, US and Self.  I don't really read any of them though.  I hate to say it but it's true.  I usually end up giving most of them to my sister.

For my ex, there were Golf Digest & Penthouse. The funny thing was, when I went overseas, the magazines were still coming to me-in my name. I'm sure the people who got the mail wondered why I was getting Penthouse Magazine.  :D ;D ;D ;D


After that ran out, there were a few that continued with a subscription:

But I let all of them run out. I was getting the History Channel Magazine for a short period of time but now, the only magazine that I read is Parade in the Sunday paper.
