I don't have an mp3 player so I do not download any songs, still using CDs, but if I ever want an MP3 player, my daughter will be my tutor on how to use one.

Well, neither have I - but that doesn't stop me from downloading mp3's. I can always play them on my computer (using Windows Media Player), and I use them for my audio quizzes of course.

I recently came across a few hits from old-time Brit group the Tremeloes in glorious mono...so I had to have 'em!  :)

Still looking for mono mixes of Johnny Rivers' early stuff, but I think I may be out of luck here... :-\\

Only ten!!!??!
I've been at the downloads for over 7 years.......best things in life are free!!!! 8) 8)
I'm currently at 9,153 song files.....Most of my stuff is out of print & there are blog site where you can grab entire albums......& like the old days of LPs.....you'ld buy an album for one song!!!
I no longer use limewire as I have everything I ever wanted musically ...
Now any tracks I like I can pick up direct from internet radio stations while they are playing!
Too much hype was placed on download sites & the confused people stay away from such a venture! ;D

Music industry has always been fueled by greed & Remember the following
Cassette decks & blank tapes were always available!
Computers always came with CD burners & stacks of blank discs!
So what did they think the public was going to use them for!!! ;)
So when I read about a jackass judge in California finning a single mom of 2 $250k for downloading 25 songs
it makes me sad to hear the fans are being attacked!!! >:( >:(
I live in a country where my rights are protected from any & such lawsuits...so I can do as I like!

I grew up listening to "The Spirit of Radio" CFNY-fm 102.1
The very station that "Rush" wrote "Spirit of Radio"
Yes.........freedom of music
There is "NOTHING" wrong with downloading a song as long as one doesn't use it for commercial gain!
I keep all my stuff on a separate offline computer that feeds the sterio so its hackerproof!
I don't listen to radio stations anymore cause to me they are a far cry from what they used to be!
You can get free down loads of mp3 recorders online .....& record hours of internet radio transmissions
& sort out what you want.separate it , label it , & keep it!
I say download ........& enjoy it!!!
THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE....ARE YOU!!! ;)

Aah, a little googling for Streetband's Workin' on the Radio.  You just had to remind me where Rush got the idea, didn't you?  :)
