I was wondering what you mean by bizarre. I may be able to enlighten you a bit. The Soldier driving this vehicle is actually doing a great job. I have not watched the entire thing cause it was a but repetitive. The horn you hear is the military vehicle, that serves as the warning to the locals to move. If we are not forceful with them like this driver they will clog the road and possibly ambush the convoy. I hope this explains things to you a bit. Then again I may be way off base and if I am I apologize.

that was crazy, and sort of awesome. with the threat of roadside IED or car bomb or sniper fire, they vehicle obviously must keep as high a rate of speed as it can when travelling crowded streets and I found it very interesting that the Iraqi's know to move out of the way when the humvee, truck or whatever military vehicle that it is, bumps them slightly. Th adrenaline must be surging in these situations

Usually the military vehicle will have a sign for vehicles approaching from the rear that says"Warning stay back 100m or you will be shot". I can't recall the exact wording but that is very close to it.

It will be nice to finally get everyone home as the troubles over there will never be solved by foreign interests
They've been killing each other since bible times & will continue to do so "Cause They Born So"
Viet-Iraq is not the place to be!
Thinking back about Vietnam ...The best line I heard was a private talking to a officer saying "how do these people expect to fight a helicopter with bows & arrows"....The officer replied..."How do you expect to fight a People that fight helicopters with bows & arrows"
Same goes for Iraq....Suicide Bombers!???
Best America packs up & leaves that Dodge City!!
