A naked man fell to his death yesterday after police hit him with a taser during a standoff on a ledge outside his apartment building.

The New York Post, which has video footage of the incident, says Iman Morales was swinging a fluorescent light bulb from his second-floor perch when one of the officers fired his stun gun yesterday afternoon in Brooklyn.

"When they tasered him, he froze and pitched forward. He fell on his head," witness Ernestine Croom tells the Daily News . "They didn't put out a mattress or a net or anything."

Morales, 35, was pronounced dead at a local hospital. The New York Times says he was "apparently emotionally disturbed." The incident is under investigation, a police spokesman says.
