From what I've heard, kidney stones can be extremely painful.
Although, milestones could potentially be extremely painful too, if, say, you were out riding your bicycle and you spaced off and ran into one.

I had a kidney stone. Felt like a dump truck was driving around in my intestines. No big deal.

The drugs made me the most peaceful I think I've ever been in my entire life LOL Sometimes I think it wouldn't be so bad to have another one just so I could be drugged up like that again LOL Isn't that awful??

yeah, they gave me demerol. 8) one moment i was squirming and whimpering like a schoolgirl (it's funny that's an expression for someone who's weak and defeated; i remember when i was in elementary and junior high school the schoolgirls were actually pretty much hard as nails and scared the bejeesus outta me.... but i digress... anyway, then the next moment i was skipping around on puffy cloudtops chasing butterflies and surrounded by bounding bunnies and kittens. the dude asked me if i was still feeling any pain and i told him, "dude, i can't feel anything below my eyebrows." he sorta chuckled at that.

I had one a couple of years ago, at 2:30 in the morning. I thought it was a horrific cramp or appendicitis as it was on my right side. I woke my then-girlfriend up to take me to the emergency room and I horked in the front yard before getting in her car. Then when we got to the ER I needed to yak again while the nurse was getting my info and I was holding my hat in my hand or something and it got all over that and some into a wastebasket. Needless to say I tossed that hat. 8-P
The pain made it uncomfortable to sit still, plus there was some drunk ho in another room that wouldn't shut up. After the student nurse misdiagnosed me with possible appendicitis they ran a CT scan and pumped some morphine into me. Then a doctor comes back to give me the fun news. They gave me a prescription to Percocet that I held onto for awhile 'cuz I slept like a log at night when I took that stuff.
Coincidentally my BIL and a co-worker had kidney stones right around the same time as I did. :o

When I was in the hospital for my surgery, they gave me morphine. I was so out of it, when my mom came in to visit, I told her they put me on Heroin. The nurses chuckled and said "Well, we usually don't give out hardcore street drugs..." Heck, what did I know? ;D

Robin, Robin, Robin... frankly, I'm beginning to think that you're still caught up on her and not able to focus all your attention (and desires) on me. It's really frustrating. >:(

"The good old days weren't always good and tomorrow aint as bad as it seems"
You've got me quoting Billy Joel, Howard! You kinda bitched about her when she was around. Move on. I'm sure there are other girls to find in the Friendship Network.
All in favor of dubbing Robin "She Who Shall Not Be Named" say aye!
