I agree. No means no (with anyone in any situation) unless you're an idiot. One thing I've noticed is that alot of guys can be quick to jump to the "oh she's just playing hard to get" crap when a girl tells them that. It's as if they not only don't respect them, but don't believe them.

Interesting one. I haven't looked at the video so can't comment on that just yet but for me, no means no and yes means yes because I'm literal like that, lol.

However, not saying it's right but I do understand where this 'no means yes' mentality comes from.

One of the reasons are romance films/novels were the masculine hero shrugs off negativity from the woman and she caves in (a typical example would be a man getting slapped around the face by a woman only for the pair to passionately kiss afterwards). Another idea being that a man thinks a woman is merely pretending to be negative around the man to save her own feelings (like the show Moonlighting for example). Men often think this feminine mentality happens in real life.

There is also a lot of thought given to the idea that when a woman says no she is testing out the man to see how much he really wants her.
