I remembered to recycle a plastic bottle which had water in it. (Of course, I do that every day.) Heck, I have been recycling for a good part of my life, cuz it's good for the environment!

I recycled some old newspapers in honour of the day yesterday.

  And recycled the can..?  Next year I'm going to print-up a bunch of Earth Day t-shirts and make "Songs Inspired by Earth Day" mix CDs and sell them and make a ton of money...

We do that just about every day...we dump them in our recycle bin, and every Tuesday they get picked up by the City. (Same deal with the trash. Our barrel is divided into two compartments: one for trash, and the other for recyclables.)

Our council takes products for recycling away every Saturday, so all I have to do is put the newspaper in the orange bag in readiness for placing outside our door at the required time.

Our family recycle newspapers when the garbage men come during the week.

I am an avid recycler- and not just of cans or bottles.

I like finding new & inventive ways of reusing old things.

Example- When my original Karaoke speakers blew out, I hollowed out the cabinets, and hinged them together, to make the cabinet I use for my main components.

People told me it was "pretty creative".

I was watching people put plastics bags into recycling bins the other day, but other people would still come along and take some out to use for their shopping.
