Was a fab time had by all?

Was it you and the Mrs that attended?

Did you hum along?

Did you count how many holes it would take fill the Albert Hall?

Was a fab time had by all?
We did both enjoy the concert, it was as we expected.

Was it you and the Mrs that attended?
It was my son that arranged the tickets and attended the concert with me.

Did you hum along?
I consider humming along will ruin the pleasure of those sitting close by.

Did you count how many holes it would take fill the Albert Hall?
On admiring the interior of the Royal Albert Hall, I have so far only assumed one hole. The hole it took for the construction of it.

One occurrence that start the evening off well.

With the concert starting at 7:30pm, I was waiting for my son just outside the RAH near the Box Office and the Stage Door. At 7pm a posh looking car pulls up outside the Stage Door and Lang Lang (the concert pianist) climbed out of the car and went straight into the building, meanwhile the car turns round to leave. All of a sudden Lang Lang runs out to the car to take out something he had forgotten in the boot. I strategically place myself between the car and Stage Door and claimed Lang Lang's autograph on  a blank card. He was pleased to honour the process. My son who turned up about five minutes later could not believe it.

...and I was the only one that caught his autograph, no one else was set up for it.

This was my first movie music based concert, I should had gone to one last January, but at that time I had flu. My son did go to that concert and enjoyed, I would add here that his favourite composer is John Williams.

Where's Royal Albert Hall?
In London, just south of Kensingto Gardens, across the road from the Albert Memorial.

Looks like a long road.
Kensington Gore (the road) looks long, but is soon walked if you had to.

Now who remembers this gentleman hosting the concert. Simon "Our Tune" Bates. Once of Radio 1 and now is a regular voice on ClassicFM (in the UK).

The music was superb and have now heard a few of the pieces on the radio since, now I heard them in a different manner, listening out for a strain of violin, horns, etc.

do you have a pair of Bose headphones. I highly reccomend them. they really allow you to hear all the different instruments very clearly.

No, the majority of my listening comes from the speakers on the computer.

Also it is the visualisation of the instruments being played that recreates the atomosphere of that night.

With me, if I wear headphones I do not hear other noises, like the postman at the door, the traffic outside, something falling on the floor in another room, etc.
