If you have an idea about a person, couple or yourself, just put it down.  I might have neglected to mention that I can't submit attack parodies, or verses that have other than sexual innuendo.  I was going to write it myself, but was stuck for ideas.  Alan suggested the ideas part.  Depending on response, I will probably end up writing most of it myself.  If you find a better vewrse, put it down...I did find a few mistakes in this one.

I thought the length was just right, and that's especially good for our/my attention span and I do have a hard time reading long posts  ::)

That WAS good, Alan, but you do realize that I have to edit part and I also can't use that much of the parody. That wouldn't be fair to others.  I WAS thinking a line or two and it should just be an idea so I can put it into my own words, which if you read some my parodies, aren't too shabby.  Can't refer to Phil as a postwhore.  There's already a Phil over there and it seems as though I would be calling that Phil a whore. That would be an attack and it would be turned down by Chucky. We use 'ho.  Besides it's too exclusive and most would not know what I'm talking about. That's a big 'no' over there. I could go on about internal rhyming, but I did say that I would take care of that.

It didn't...I can use ideas that I got from it. :)

I may have given you all the wrong impression, helped none by Alan... :P :). that you were to write a full blown saga, like Alan's. That's intimidating.  What would really help me is to get a few ideas from the members here like; so and so likes so and so; somebody doesn't like this or that; or that someone is a saggy who likes soap operas
WAY too much; but remember it's supposed to be in a light, not hateful vein.  Is that more helpful?  Or you could be like ninny and give me a few lines about yourself.  As for Alan,  I've got a few choice words to add myself....heehee :o 8).

Interesting concept!

I used to do similar things in the SCA- this is called "filking".
Essentially, you take any song in existence, and tweak the words to fit SCAvian/Period .

One possible idea would be to expand the song base, perhaps.

Something like:

"As you post...on the boards....how your fingers go!
'Don't be a bad girl, Pat- don't you miss work, to be a postho'.
Oh no, Q...oh no, Alan...I'll be a golden girl!
I will obey every posting rule."

"I'm taught by the House Rules....not to attack.
I'm told by ol' Chucky: Be good- be good, be good- be good- be good, be good- be good- be good, be good Adagio!"

I'm gonna have to check out some of Pat (adagio's) parody work.  not sure what part or how much of your lyrics can be used in a real parody Isabel, but I think parodies are a passion of Pat's, & she can figure things out.

Don't feel pressured!  I've kinda decided to write my own version with what I know...not much, but I've worked with less. Of course, if you should happen across a juicy bit of gossip...I'll take it, but I'll make this all in fun and not an attack parody. :)

Well, I had promised to do so(I've been promising to do so since 2006)... But all the previous pics I had I was really unhappy with and the computer's CD drives won't access.(it was already infected with spyware when I got it, which was also responsible for the drives being disabled... I'll be replacing it soon this year, since my brother in law wants to buy it back as soon as he can)
