Subject: Past lives of inthe00s members

Written By: loki 13 on 02/07/08 at 6:24 pm

Again, suffering ennui I started thinking about reincarnation. I don't know why because I don't believe in it but
as I was thinking about past lives I thought about one particular member here and what he could have been in
a past life. It came to me rather quickly, so I started thinking of other members and what they could have been
in a past lives. I came up with this list, feel free to correct me if you feel I'm incorrect or add your own thoughts
on what you think members did in past lives. My list is from on line persona, if I didn't mention you yet, it's not
because you were forgotten but because I don't quite have a grasp.

My List:

Badfinger-fan: Early 19th Century Diplomat/Ambassador.

Philip Eno: Mid 19th Century Orchestra Conductor.

Tia: Late 18th Century Composer.

Davey Thrashmister: 5th Century King of a Barbarian Horde (likely the Vandals or Lombards.)

Quirk: Early 20th Century Museum Curator ( unlike her sister Beth who was a,)

MidKnightDarkness: A General in Davey's Barbarian Horde mercilessly slashing her way through South Central Europe.

CatwomanofV: Late 19th Century Woman's Rights Activist.

Danoota&Me: Early to Mid 20th Century Civil Rights Activist.

Henk: 19th Century Playwright

Howard: 17th Century Sheep Herder

Mr. Mister: 15th Century Court Jester

Who wasn't in a war in the 14th century? I don't know why, it was just the first thing that came to my mind.
When I made my list it was made on impulse, that's why some people are still missing from the list because I
drew a blank when I thought of their name.

I thought it was a bit different, it was kind of fun to do too.  ;D

Some?

Believe me, I had your name in my mind and I couldn't think of anything. The only thing that
I can think of is something to do with 18th century southwest Indians, this is more to do with
your old avatar than anything. After I get a grasp of your posting style I put something more
definite.  ;)

That's because I not only have that avatar, I love to read about Native Americans, esp.  unknown exinct tribes like the Anazasi, and exitistant, but barely...the Inuit.  You may have been thinking Anazasi,,,they're from the Southwest.

CatwomanofV: Late 19th Century Woman's Rights Activist.

We're clearly soldiers in petticoats
And dauntless crusaders for woman's votes
Though we adore men individually
We agree that as a group they're rather stupid!

Cast off the shackles of yesterday!
Shoulder to shoulder into the fray!
Our daughters' daughters will adore us
And they'll sign in grateful chorus
"Well done, Sister Suffragette!"

From Kensington to Billingsgate
One hears the restless cries!
From ev'ry corner of the land:
"Womankind, arise!"
Political equality and equal rights with men!
Take heart! For Missus Pankhurst has been clapped in irons again!

No more the meek and mild subservients we!
We're fighting for our rights, militantly!
Never you fear!

So, cast off the shackles of yesterday!
Shoulder to shoulder into the fray!
Our daughters' daughters will adore us
And they'll sign in grateful chorus
"Well done! Well done!
Well done Sister Suffragette!"

Shaman is a generic term, there are many different cultures that employ the use of shamans so one picture won't do it. This is a start though.

I am not a germophobe by any stretch of the imagination, but sometimes I pull my sleeve up over my hands before touching the handles of shopping carts.

I don't blame you.  Lots of kids go to my store and who knows if the last one that touched your cart was sick.  Our store has the wipes for the handles, too.  Great idea, whoever thought of that.

Shaman is a generic term, there are many different cultures that employ the use of shamans so one picture won't do it. This is a start though.

Siberian Shaman

Native American

Thanks...you're right about the different types of shaman,  I had to specify Native American shaman when looking.  Of course I am looking for N.A. shamans.
