BAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHA! ;D
Ours is "It Might Be You" by Stephen Bishop. Leave it to Rice to pick a theme song from a movie about a cross dresser. :D

There are a few that hubby and I have, but we consider this one to be IT.

I was thinking of starting a similar thread on what your wedding song was/might be.
Not too sure what Dai would consider 'our' song but there are three that I do.
Zoom - Fat Larry's Band
Lady in Red - Chris de Burgh
(our first two smooches)
Deeply Dippy - Right Said Fred
This is the song we wanted as our first dance when we got married but the DJ insisted we chose a slowy to start so we picked Lady in Red (I think - I just remember dancing to this one!)

;)
Not behind in times at all. It came out in 2000 or 02, I can't remember which.
We fell in love with it because of the chorus:
"I'll love you when your hair turns grey girl
I still want you if you gained a little weight, yeah
The way I feel for you will always be the same
Just as long as your love don't change (no)
I was meant for you and you were meant for me, yeah
And I make sure that I'll be everything you need, Yeah
Girl the way we are is how it's gonna be
Just as long as your love don't change"

well, I would say me & lady Di have 2 or 3 songs:
*Up Where We Belong - Joe Cocker & Jennifer Warnes from the movie An Officer & A Gentleman soundtrack
*Endless Love - Lionel Richie & Diana Ross
*All Out Of Love - Air Supply, probably our favorite slow dance song and even though the lyrics flip back and forth between love & breakup, we love it and I will always get up on the dance floor and hold her close to me and sway together when it plays at a dance.
I remember a scene from the movie 10 starring Dudley Moore & Bo Derek when Dudley is on vacation on the tropical island having drinks at the beach bar talking with bartender Brian Dennehy and talks about how sad it would be if him and his woman had a song and if they did have one, it would probably be The Beatles - Why Don't We Do It In The Road ???
...I forgot to ad one more
*Fooled Around And Fell In Love - Elvin Bishop ;)

Do you want mushy; whenever I hear this song I ask my wife to dance no matter where we are, be it the
mall, visiting with with friends or restaurants, the place doesn't matter. Funny thing is, this is the only song
I will dance to.

Another one that describes how I feel really well is "High on You" by Survivor. Even though it's not a ballad per se (more of a midtempo arena style pop/rock song), it's sort of on the side of being so excited to be in love that you can't contain your excitement:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cck0r5ZzMXc
This one is more of a devotion song with a Christian theme, telling someone you'll always be there for them. "I Will Be Here For You" by Michael W. Smith (it's from 1992 but has that late eighties soft rock sound all over it, which isn't bad at all! :) ):
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqM3wZtToEI
On that note, one of my favorite (as well as one of the more unique) power ballads - "The Flame" by Cheap Trick:

Maybe I should also 'chuck' in (is there a pun there ? ??? :-\\ well, maybe not .. it's not capitalized .. :-X ) .... as I was saying, chuck in 'The Greatest Love of All' ?
It goes on about learning to love YOURSELF . (Hey, Al ... who else has been with you every day of your life ... will be there at the end .... and NEVER says 'no' .... I'm not in the mood, I've got a headache ? Yes it's you ! Hey Al ! This one ...... -> :-* it's directed at YOU !

me and a "friend" had a song, & I guess we still do but that was a long time ago and during a sensitive, crucial, transition time in my life and our friendship almost became more than just friends, but thankfully we excercised self control and have remained good friends.

Ok so if we are doing mushy as well.......... ::)
Other than the Rocky Horror song we would have to say 'Angels by Robbie Williams'. I know a million people have but it was topping the charts when we finally became an item and so it's kind of special
Another is a song by the band Del Amitri who I am a huge fan of and got Himself into at the time. As we had a long distance relationship for the first 4 years the lyrics meant a lot.
With the sweet drip of every raindrop
Time brings you closer to me
And with each new sign at every train-stop
Another hour without you is consigned to history
And with each tick of my alarm clock
I get crazy for the days to get to you
When I can hold you and kiss you and have you
Instead of staring at some photo like a fool
But as day turns to night theres this hopelessness to fight
When I think that I might not make it through
But honey sometimes I just have to say your name
To hear it hanging in the air, to know it sounds the same
And sometimes when Im blue, I know just what to do
To keep the blues at bay you know I only have to say your name
So this morning I picked up the paper
In the useless descent of the rain
While partners in heartbreak the whole world over
Lie and cheat just the same
And the headlines proclaim everything has changed
Love cant save you now
As each little motion of my writswatch
Holds up my faith somehow
But as day turns to night theres this hopelessness to fight
When I think that I might not make it through
But honey sometimes I just have to say your name
To hear it hanging in the air, to know it sounds the same
And sometimes when Im blue, I know just what to do
To keep the blues at bay you know I only have to say your name
Well I've used up all my patience
and your letters have been read twenty times through
I can drink all the wine in this place of mine
But it aint no replacement
It aint no replacement for you

This might sound very strange but my mother & I have an "our song". It is "You & Me Against the World" by Helen Ready. Well, it is not exactly that way now but maybe at one time. But I can't help but think of my mother when I hear the song (and she thinks of me, too when she hears it), and I start bawling my eyes out. :-[

And once upon a time, Billy Idol's Dancin' With Myself was avant-garde and almost too-risque for radio!
With the benefit of 20/20 hindsight, I'm gonna go for NIN, Head Like A Hole. She'd probably say the same about me. We were both right :)

I'm not naive but I remember the DJ playing that Billy Idol song at our wedding reception and lots of people dancing and I didn't know the subject matter overtones until some time after.
