I thought.....A+B so I figured it was 7cm

then I thought maybe A2+B2 so I thought maybe16 + 9= 27

then I thought about radius  and pi


then I just went out and bought a pie... now that is math I can handle.

Ugh..I always hated math too.

I've always been good with numbers and equasions and stuff, so even though math was usually never super challenging for me (until I got into the harder stuff like Algebra), I can see how it would be frustrating. I've gotta admit that "here it is" answer for X was funny. ;D

thank goodness Lady Di is excellent with math and was able to tutor Julie throught school as I was no help.  I can barely remember the engineering and scientific notations and studying I had to do to pass the digital technology test to get my job. I went over the stuff so much that I had it memorized and passed the test easily but now I can't remember any of it.  ???

I probably said this before but the closest I ever got to using algebra was when I worked at a grocery store and had to do a display of 2 liter sodas and had to figure out how many would fit on the stand

pretty much just needed to pass the test, along with electronics but I do actually use binary and hexidecimal numbers when I am testing T1's and that is the only part of it that I need, and it's all point and click on the computer so i just have to memorize the hex codes and the computer breaks it down to binary for me.

Math isn't my favourite subject cause I suck so bad at it.  The course I took in college required atleast one math course, so I took basic math.  To pass the course, a 60 (D) was needed and I ended up with a 58 (F).  So what did I do?  I went to the teacher's office to appeal the grade, and I made up all these fake excuses, poured on the fake tears.  If they gave Academy Awards for that sort of thing, I'd win Best Original Song cause I was singing those tales like a trained Opera singer LOL.  In the end, I walked out of his office with a 60

Am I ashamed of this?  Not really.  If I was going to be a Math teacher then yes I could see how I would need to learn this crap, but even then what's the point.  You'd just be teaching other people math that you'd never use.  I have just one thing to say ...

I was totally crap at maths.I had to take my O Level exam 4 times before I passed it! But I can do enough to get me through everyday life so that helps.

I enjoy mathematics, even the hidden mathes of life.

I always hated math.  What a waste.  I spent at least 1560 hours of my life learning it (13 years of school...120 days each year, 1 hour of math each day, so that's 120 hours x 13 = 1560 hours... divided by 24 hours in a day - that's 65 whole days...) and I cannot think of 1 example in my entire life since I graduated high school 12 years ago (well, more like 11 1/2 years.... 2008 minus 1996 = 12, but I graduated in June so that's 1/2 a year not accounted for) that i have used Math.  Not 1.

I've hated math for as long as I can remember....especially on exam day!  8-P

While I wouldn't say it's a hobby or anything, I guess I'm outnumbered on this one. ;D

I don't hate math, but let's just say I don't like it either. I am just neutral about it. It's like part of me wants to learn it just so I can get it and look smart, but the other half of me wants to paint and draw and let mathematicians and accountants deal with large numbers and theories.
