Well, I have had an alias (second) account in the past, where that's crossed my mind .... but I thought that to be really pathetic  ...... vain as I am  .... I like to look at my position  and think it's some kind of crude HONEST reflection of my  likeability .... although I realise too that a lot of those points people get are a result of clique-ness, reciprocation, and the like .....

The same happened back at my old work, the software that ran the e-mail system was rubbish and past messages had to printed off and delete. Which defeats the whole idea of a paperless society.

I send PMs to myself all the time, but it's to store important information and other stuff... Like fantasy battle data and links to other sites.

I did save a few PMs to myself, now I store the bits and pieces I need on the computer now.

I actually tried sending a PM to myself earlier this week...and it worked!! :D

I was writing a draft for a pm (like I often do in email), so sending a copy of it to myself seemed like a good option.
