Subject: Empire State Building Jumper Suing for 30Million
Written By: danootaandme on 01/17/08 at 5:51 pm
Jeb Corliss attempted to parachute off of the Empire State Building. He didn't tell people that was what he was going to do, they just thought he was jumping and so they grabbed a hold of him. He is now suing because he says that didn't have any right to stop him, and because he says if his parachute deployed while they were preventing him from jumping, he would have been hurt and possibly killed.
How do we know that this is a guy with too much money, too much time on his hands, and sh*t for brains? ::)

Anyone attempting to jump off the ESB has rocks in their head, parachute or not. This guy is an idiot, and the people of the ESP should sue him for causing them personal grief and possibly attempted murder ...
They grab a hold of him, and he falls, taking them with him. Attempted murder, no?

Reminds me of the scene in The Incredibles where Mr. Incredible saves a man who jumped off a building only to be sued for accidentally injuring him during the rescue attempt. ::)
