Send out a couple scouts and have them set up about 20 or 30 of these penguin decoys near walrus territory while they're asleep.

After the decoys are set up, the rest of the group can begin slipping quietly past. If the walruses wake up they will attack the decoys and by the time they realize they've been duped we will have escaped.

To effectively repel the walrus:
