I've never been to Wegman's, but Giant really has the lowest prices around.  They're a great store.  It's been 10 years since I worked there, but I still shop there all the time.

We don't have Giant stores in our area of Pa....my sis has a Giant store where she lives (Shippensburg)....we do, however, have Giant Eagles. ;D

There used to be a "Giant" truck stop off I-40 in New Mexico somewhere.

no, the rudeness and selfishness of most people is what really made my blood boil.  everybody wanted something for nothing.  it was a thankless, humiliating job.  people treated me as if i was inferior to them because i was bagging their groceries.  they felt like they could talk to me any way they wanted to.  i've honestly never looked at mankind they same way since.  it showed me the worst side of people...

i'm not bitter...  :D

everyone's different... you're probably very friendly to cashiers.



what really bothered me most was the stupidity of so many people.  99% of the complaints I got were actually the customer's fault, and we weren't supposed to argue.  so these idiots always got their way, despite the fact that they were unable to read a sale flyer correctly, or realize that their coupons were expired...whatever the case, I eventually just started picturing everyone with a big old stupid question mark hovering over their heads.

The store wasn't open yet and they were having a job fair.  My dad kinda forced me to go and I'm glad he did.  My first job... And though I hated it at the time, every person in my life right now (12 years later) is in it either directly or indirectly because I worked there... it's very strange.  But I owe my friendships and my relationship to that job.

about 2 years, I guess.  I quit and came back 3 times too  ;D  i was a kid...

i do.  unforunately, there is a high turnover in the grocery business but there are some people who are still there and it's great to see them.  it feels like i was just there

while i was there, i had a few different supervisors, and i liked a couple...wasn't so fond the others.  but for the most part i liked everyone i worked with.
