Subject: What songs do you listen to when you work out?
Written By: snozberries on 11/29/07 at 11:01 pm
I find I listen to same play list when I walk....
Warm up with Dreams ~ the Cranberries
Where is the Love? ~ Black Eyed Peas
Yeah! ~ Usher
Hey Ya ~ Outkast
I Like the Way You Move ~ Outkast
Gigaloo ~ Nick Cannon
Ignition ~ R. Kelly
Hot in Herre ~ Nelly
Cool Down with Burn ~ Usher
Yeah! by Usher always gets me over a hump so as I extend the amount of time I walk I place it strategically through out my playlist... whenever its on I feel no pain! ;D

I don't workout much (ok not at all) but 'The Beat is Rockin' by Erick E makes me wanna get up and dance all the time. Sometimes I actually do and dancing is a form of excersise LOL

heck getting up and going to the bathroom can be considered exercise too if its the only movement you get all day.... That was me two weeks ago but now that I have started walking I just wondered what moves others.... ;D

At Curves gym they have a strange selection of music that have all been given a thump clap type backbeat (think Stars on 45 stylee) and speeded up or slowed down as appropriate. Yesterday it was Boulevard of Broken Dreams as you've never heard it before that stuck in my mind

I don't really work out now, but when I was actively studying Sumo, I generally listened to any upbeat songs by The Tubes, Peter Gabriel or Y&T.
During my "Skyfire" days, we would stretch out to whatever people brought.
I was usually the DJ, of sorts, for this.
(Needless to say, people got rather burnt out on '80s stuff. :D :D :D :D)
