Something that I'm not too sure everyone knows, but James Berrie gave the copyrights of Peter Pan to a children's hospital in the U.K. (Can't remember the name of it and I'm too lazy to look it up right now). So, whenever you purchase something with the Peter Pan name on it, it benefits children. Which I think is WONDERFUL!!! I know this because I wrote a children's book that uses the name "Tinkerbell" as a fairy and I wanted to see if I had to play royalties or anything. I received a nice email back that I would have to pay a small amount-but they didn't specify how small and I was told to contact them again when I got a book deal. I never did get a deal so I never contacted them again. But, I really don't have a problem paying the royalties to them since I know it is for a good cause, rather then going into the hot shots at Disney's pocket or something like that. Maybe it is time to try to get that sucker published. Oh, another thing that I found out, they were looking for an author to write a sequel.

The hospital is the Great Ormond Street Hospital.

If you recall there was a lot of garfuffel over Spielberg's Hook, he had to end paying money to G.O.S.H.

Yeah, that's the name of the hospital. I know you would know it-or at least look it up.  ;)

I don't recall the "garfuffel" with Hook. But I am glad that Spielberg had to pay. Like I said, it is for a good cause.
