Subject: Christmas Gift Recommendations
Written By: HawkTheSlayer on 11/13/07 at 12:22 am
This thread is being started now, because the Holidays are coming.
Perhaps by recommending gifts for other members, you may actually come up with an actual gift!
I'll start:
Howard: Some new shoes.
Erin: An all-day pass to Hershey Park!
Davey: 6 months of pre-paid "All You Can Beat" sessions at the nearest Fight Pit.
Jason: Various messages stating, "You Are No Longer the Champion Of..." ;D :D
Cat & Carlos: Their own Sex-Advice Column.
Patty: Happiness.
Chucky: The ultimate spam-destroyer program.
Marty: A high-tech disguise kit (for that surprise trip to PA.)
Step-chan: His own cloning lab.
Henk: Lifetime passes to all Dutch One races.
Gissie: Honorary membership in the band "Bowling For Soup".
Philip Eno: A lifetime supply of Twinings tea.
.............More to come later.

We'll both get hammered
And then I'll nail you

Ok, off the top of my head...
Badfingerfan: a set of flares to place around the bottled water
Quirk: a box of retro stuff (including a Simon game, an outliner pen, Lisa Frank stickers, and an explanation of where Baby Smurf came from. :) )
Andy: A set of floral boxers
Beth: A box of random odds and ends, with a long buried civil war love letter found in an attic, some black and white posters, a pair of ice skates, a blonde wig, blue light bulbs, and a mood ring.
Cat & Don Carlos: A kitty stroller (yes, they exist) so you can walk your cats
Howard: A 2XL robot
gemini: tickets to see Elton John in Vegas (yes, he's there now!)
Eno, Tam & everyone else who's been around awhile: A lifelong copy of Rubixgirl's Profile
I'm sure more will come to mind later...

You know you're not old, sweetie (plus, you've only got 4-5 biological years on me and you seem about Nine years younger than your age anyway). :) I think everyone gets queasy and naturally nervous of rides, because naturally you know something could go wrong, even if it probably won't. When you're a little kid you really don't have these fears 'cause it's just fun lol. I've been a chicken and skeptical for awhile myself. ;D

Oh totally, lol. Ever since the age of 11 or so, those have scared me. When I went to that amusement park two Summers ago, it took lots of coaxing from my friends to go on the upside down ones. And I was probably screaming louder than the little kids were. ;D
