Look at the image below,is the figure rotating clockwise or counter-clockwise?

Most apparently see her rotating counter-clockwise,which apparently means they're more left-brain.

I see her clockwise,which apparently means I'm more right-brained. (Im right handed)

A friend of mine who is ambidextris sees the image change directions...... VERY INTERESTING!!

I see clock-wise.  Right-handed as well.

The left-brain is based on linear and organization.

And the left side of the brain controls the right side of your body, and vice versa.

Whether you're more right or left brained just means you're more or less creative or logical.

Well, Em reckons in the feedback (link above) ^ that it is not a trick. In spite of his mate's computer backround info .. I remain scepitical. Even if it's not a hoax ... can we sure it measures right/brain functioning accurately?

I watched it for a while. For around a minute, I saw it going clockwise (same direction as my watch, looking at it/ the screen) .... i.e., which is not what I expected. I'm right handed, and when psychogists have run tests on me before, my best skill by a long way was verbal .. which is left brain/ logical thinking.. I regard myself as logical, and my logical processes have often been good at helping me win trivias / fault find on electronic equipment in the past.

However ... I'm a bit of a lateral thinker ... as evidenced on this board / also at trivias. Visually though, I suck ... I struggle to see pictures in my head.

I find myself agreeing much more frequently with the 'left sided brain' of the table (see link).

I see the image switch after a minute or less to revolve anti-clockwise ... and then take turns going back and forth....

So ... it IS possible I'm a bit of both ... but I certainly would have expected a dominance of 'anti-clockwise' / left brain / logical side .. in my case.

As for the right hand ... that was out of action for a couple of weeks earlier this year, following a bad cut to my fingers. Had to develop my left hand to do all kinds of personal things that it wasn't good at, like in those bathroom breaks ... and then those other practices !  :o .

Yes, it's just NOT the same !  :P  :D

I haven't clicked on this particular link but it sounds the same as something I checked the other day on a science forum.

When i looked first it was going clockwise, then I read the stuff at the side and it switched to going anti-clockwise.  Now I can change the direction almost at will by 'making' the leg switch from coming towards me to going away from me.

It is built with elements that suggest it's going either way. It's up to your brain to decide which way it goes. If you leave and then look at it again, your brain my reinterpret it.

Clockwise for me. I'm a left-hander, left-footer & right-brainer. Which makes perfect sense.
