Take alot of deep breaths. Just try to focus on something that makes you happy and get your mind off of whatever is making you anxious.
Try to surround yourself with positive/upbeat people and things.

Try listening to a Sade album, it'll reduce you to a almost-lifeless stupor within minutes!

simple anxiety is nomal, and can be dealt with in some of the ways mentioned, however if it escalates into full blown panic attacks, and causes stress and worry, not many of the self help suggestions can help. professional help may be needed.

Depends on how often and how intense. Everyone has anxiety at some time. Regular excersize, soothing music, hot baths, getting to the root of what is bothering you, all that helps. If not talk to a pro.
