Anyway, I can't believe that it is already September! Today is a beautiful day here...sunny and a lot cooler. I'm ready for fall! :)

September means one thing for me, just look out the calendar for Saturday next week if you do not know.

For now I am still trying to shake off this flu, which has now sneaked up into my throat and is making my voice very hoarse.

Phillip - if you have white vinegar in the house, go take 2 tbsp of it. It owrks for me! Uncloggs my head completely and actually eases the throat a little bit! ;)
(That is if you can stand the taste of vinegar)

Today Autumn cleaning starts in my house! I have to clean the windows inside and out, lay the fall fertilizer etc etc. Even though it is still bloody hot here, I get it done the first week in September so that I don't have to worry about it later!

I only like vinegar on chips, when having the chips with fish.

BTW, my liquid intake is a honey, lemon and whiskey concoction variant, with tea if bored with taste.

the weather today on 1st day of September is gorgeous. got up and made some coffee, went and ran some early errands. When I got back, I mowed my front & back lawns,  watered them & now they look nice & green (finally). then did some house cleanup for a poker party we're having tomorrow. Tonight is a family dinner/birthday party, first a banquet at our favorite Chinese restaurant, and then back to my bro-in-law's for cake and ice cream and presents for all the honored.

Argh. I hate when I wanna reply to the last month and I can't.

I took the kids to the library today and then we ran to the grocery store.  I picked up subs for dinner.

First Day of September already and I just got in the mail The UFCW Local 1500 newsletter and I think within the next month or so I'm getting my benefits as well.This month will make it 5 months at Pathmark and right now I'm pretty content where I'm working.  :)

I worked tonight...it was SO busy in that store. Everyone was buying their fall/Halloween decorations like crazy...it's a wonder we have any left!  :D

This Summer was just a killer,I'm glad Summer's over and looking forward to not putting on my Air Conditioner anymore.

You can send a bit of warm weather over to me if you like it's grey and overcast with a chilly wind here I can't believe it was red hot last weekend. I did a little more gardening and went food shopping with my brother. I also sorted through my paperwork and found I am being overcharged for my house insurance! It's meant to be £142 over 12 months but I just got charged £16.60 for this month which would add up to £193.80 for 12 payments.  >:(  Of course I can't do anything about it until tomorrow..........

I hope to get my first ATM Card in the mail soon.Now that I have a steady job,I can be able to buy new and better things,take as much money when I need it and go spend for the day.

Happy September everyone!  Today is my niece's 19th birthday.  I can't believe how fast the time goes...it seems like only yesterday we were celebrating her first birthday.

I went back to work last Monday, and our school has no air conditioning.  :(  Add me to the list of people that can't WAIT for it to cool down! 

I also got 10 1/2 inches cut off my hair last week!  I love it and it feels so good!  I will post a picture as soon as I get around to taking one.

We picked up the keys to our house on Friday and then went to buy a TV from Walmart.  Yesterday we didn't do much except shout at the kids a lot!  oh, and Dai bought a new mountain bike whilst I bought cleaning stuff for the house. Today we went to Manchester to buy a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and a hair dryer.  I think that's all the major things for the house.  When the furniture has arrived we'll do a trip to Ikea to get all the bits and bobs we've forgotten about!

The weather is still great here in the sunshine.  We're planning on taking a picnic to the local baseball match tomorrow (assuming Dai is right about being able to pick up tickets on the door)

I had to be a motorcycle/auto mechanic today. Yesterday The Boy's truck broke down in Wal-Mart's
parking lot. I was already out with the motorcyle so I stopped by to give him a hand. His truck whirred
when he tried to start it, Bad starter? After he called AAA to tow his truck, my bike wouldn't start.

I figured I was about to spend a lot of money on vehicle repair. The starter wouldn't be a big deal, I can
do that myself, the bike is a different story. Before I took it to the dealer I checked it out myself.

I got off easy today, The motorcycle had fouled spark plugs and The Boy's starter was missing a mounting bolt.

Yeah, I hope so because before it gets too cold I have to break up the concrete in the driveway and

Well, the band has played its first Wedding Reception....and we must've done well.

During a 15 minute break, the bride came up, and hugged me.
She said it wouldn't have been the same without us.....
Probably because we dedicated one of our songs to the Bride & Groom.

In any event, we had dancers and applause the whole night.
Despite a couple of technical difficulties (Julio missed a couple of changes w/the drum machine, and I dropped the mic once), we did passably well.

Holiday today, so today we will stay home and.....work.  Get some of those little things done that need to be done before it starts to get too cold.  Pull in a/c, put away lawn furniture, etc, etc,.

I got to talk to hubby for about an hour online today - he had the webcam up and running. He looks so good. He has been going to the gyn nightly over there and the results are awesome for sure!

They had to put a cap in, and one of her teeth got a "baby" root canal.
On the other hand, once she actually opened her mouth and let them in, she impressed the dentist, who thought she was 10.

I was getting a tooth pulled, and I was right across the way.

So I'm thinking about making a mixed tape (Well, I made half of it already)... on an actual casette, and leaving it somewhere in my school for somebody to find and take home. I'm planning on putting my AIM SN or MSN SN or some way for them to contact me, and maybe I'll have a new friend.

The place we went to is one of those that actually tries to get things done, instead of making you come back multiple trips, just for one thing at a time.

They did her X-rays, sat down with us to explain what needed to happen, and then with our approval, they started work.

Osborne House definatly though I hear The Needles is a bit of a disappointment. We are going with Himselfs sister and her husband so we will be in their car so I'm not sure if we will use the train.

Last night I had the fun task of trying to inflate our air bed for when our visitors come back with us next weekend. I wanted to get most of the work out of the way now so I don't have to try and do it all when we get home. Of course the darn valve wouldn't work properly and all the air kept coming out again.  >:(

Husband's toe surgery went really well today, this doctor really knew what she was doing.  She explained everything really well, and was extremely patient.  Hubby is in some pain, but they prescribed him 800 mg Ibuprophen, so that should help some.  I was there to hold his leg steady and for moral support, and I only nearly passed out only once.  I did manage to stay in an upright position though and the procedure went on.  I only confirmed what I already knew, anything in the medical field is not even in the realm of possibility for me as a career.  :P  http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/01/barf.gif

What happened, to cause this to come about?

Being a bit of an expert on "feet pain", I can empathize and hope his recovery is speedy.

Well his toe's been infected and had a ingrown toenail (I think it's called?) for well over a year now with frequent flareups.  His old doctor never wanted to refer him to the podiatry clinic, but finally having gotten a new doctor, they gave him an immediate referral.  He was supposed to have the procedure done in August, but the intern didn't prepare the procedure correctly.  She had injected a huge syringe full of something into his foot (today's Dr. said the intern did it wrong) and it caused a big drop in hubby's blood pressure.  So we didn't actually get to have the thing done that day as he spent the majority of the day in the E/R of the hospital.  Anyways, the whole nail was removed today and the procedure took all of a half hour.  The wait for medical supplies (gauze, ibuprofen, and whatnot) took about a hour and a half.  lol

So, really it wasn't *that* serious, but anytime someone cuts on you is serious enough for me.  ;)

i'm up really early and am off to work soon. but boy, too tired.  i am going to hit the diner first.

All our furniture arrived yesterday.  The guys put the various boxes in whichever room I asked but a lot of the boxes were just listed as clothes or bedlinen so I wasn't sure which rooms to put them in.  I just got them put into the guest room or our bedroom thinking I could unpack them later.  I didn't realise the guys would empty all the boxes and shove stuff in the nearest closets!  It's a right old mixture of things in each, so I've got to empty each one and start again!

Anyway today I had one or two jobs to do here in the temporary place first.  Soon I will be going up to the new house to put more stuff away and measure up for rugs, bookcases and small tables.  Also most of the rooms don't have any lighting in them (we only noticed that on Wednesday  ::) ) so I am going to check out Home Depot to see what they have before we drive down to Ikea on Sunday.

So I'm thinking about making a mixed tape (Well, I made half of it already)... on an actual casette, and leaving it somewhere in my school for somebody to find and take home. I'm planning on putting my AIM SN or MSN SN or some way for them to contact me, and maybe I'll have a new friend.


... The only thing is, I have a feeling that somebody may just find it and throw it on the ground or something, it's the kind of thing some of the kids at my school would do. So does anybody think this is a good idea, or should I just find somebody to give it to?

Classes are going okay. My biology lab is soooooo late. 6:30-8:40 pm which sucks because there's a DJ training meeting tonight that starts at 8. I'm determined to get my own show this semester.

Well his toe's been infected and had a ingrown toenail (I think it's called?) for well over a year now with frequent flareups.  His old doctor never wanted to refer him to the podiatry clinic, but finally having gotten a new doctor, they gave him an immediate referral.  He was supposed to have the procedure done in August, but the intern didn't prepare the procedure correctly.  She had injected a huge syringe full of something into his foot (today's Dr. said the intern did it wrong) and it caused a big drop in hubby's blood pressure.  So we didn't actually get to have the thing done that day as he spent the majority of the day in the E/R of the hospital.  Anyways, the whole nail was removed today and the procedure took all of a half hour.  The wait for medical supplies (gauze, ibuprofen, and whatnot) took about a hour and a half.  lol

So, really it wasn't *that* serious, but anytime someone cuts on you is serious enough for me.  ;)




I'm glad everything went ok. I had half a nail cut off once because of an ingrown toenail. They did it with a local. What was the worse part was that d@mn needle they stuck into my toe. Yeah, it numbed my toe for a bit but when the anesthesia was wearing off, I would have shooting pains in my toe. It was like I was reliving that needle over and over again. I was supposed to get the other one done but it hurt like hell so I decided not to get it done. Now, if they act up (the one they cut off grew back even though they said it wouldn't  ::) ), I just cut around it with a pair of small scissors.

A call centre company I applied for last month denied me because I don't have any experience in customer service, but I knew they also have areas at their main location that involves non phone related work, so they said they would forward my resumé and if there was an opening, i might be in consideration.  Usually, when companies say that, they just wanna get rid of you, which means you'll never hear from them again

Well, today I got a call.  They received my resumé, they have open positions, and wanted me to come down for testing and an interview.  2 hours later ... I got the job.

Wow, that sounds so painful!  :\'( My dad had problems with ingrown toenails, sometimes to the point where it was too painful to even wear socks, much less shoes. I hope your husband is doing better!

It is a full-time position yes.  They got me on a 4pm - 12:30am shift for a three-week training seminar after which my hours may subject to change.  They tell me it could eventually morph to a 12 - 8pm shift, but I'm not getting my hopes up lol.  I worked a 4pm - Midnight shift for 2 years, so I could get used to it again!

As for me: I had a back wisdom tooth pulled today, and my right jaw hinge is sore as hell.
I feel like I have some fluid retention in my jaw!

Teela gets her tooth pulled tomorrow.
On the bright side, though: The abscess will go away, and it won't bother her.
Plus, she was excited to see the X-ray, because she has 2 adult teeth coming in at about the same time.

Her "Back To School" night was tonight.
According to her teacher, she is the 2nd smartest student in her class.
She is the best reader in her class, to the point where her teacher is going to be sending "special" reading material home. It will be different from what the other children are reading, because what they read now is so remedial for her.
The smartest student in the class is getting transferred to a multi-grade class, and while Teela has not reached that level just yet, I'm pretty sure she will hit that point before the year is over.

I am very, very proud of her.

They do, but I can't rinse/spit.gargle for 24 hours.
This is to ensure the blood clots properly, and if I disturb it, the result is "dry sockets"...very painful.

Melissa & I have worked very hard with her since infancy, as far as education goes.
She has an innate love of reading, and is starting to display a thirst for knowledge, as I had when I was her age.

I am able to eat, but only on the left side, and it must be soft food.
Thus, I have been eating rice noodle soups today, and sucking salt off of pretzels.

As for painkillers, I have generic Vicodin & Ibuprofen w/Codeine.
Not too bad.

Finally put together my new stereo system.

Most of the system is Marantz, which I really like, quality audio equipment and then I just pieced together the rest.

It's a Marantz 1180DC Integrated Amp, 2130 Receiver, 5020 Cassette deck, Technics SL-1200MK2 Turntable, Sony CE595 CD Changer and then I also have my MP3 Player hooked up to play straight through which is a Phillips HD6330.

Then that's all going through two Marantz 7MKII speakers, two Boston Acoustics T930II's and a JBL JRX-1185 Subwoofer.


It's a pretty cool set up.

Hey guys, hope everything is going well.  I had a Laporoscopy done on Thursday (basically a little surgery on my uterus.)  Everything went well, but I've been pretty dang sore the past couple of days.  Feeling better today though.  I'm thrilled, because we weren't sure if I was going to be able to have kids, but it looks like I will be able to now!  Hooray!  The only bad part is that my husband and I both caught a cold in the hospital.   >:(  How does that happen?

Finally put together my new stereo system.

That's cool, it's worth spending a bit of money on a stereo setup. I'm under no illusions, I know mine isn't audiophile quality, but it is pretty f**kin nice. Do you have a direct drive or a belt drive? I won't even consider a belt drive. The one thing I do have that's just top notch is my turntable. For some reason Technics had a bad rap in the U.S for a while, but in the rest of the world they're well known for making superb quality audio equipment.

Obviously I didn't buy mine brand new, I paid $260 and got it second hand, but it's fairly obvious it hasn't had much use. I get the feeling the guy that bought it new had a lot of LP's that he wanted to put on CD and then never touched it again.
If you want a new turntable then look for Technics and if you want a great new turntable, get an SL-1200, to get anything much better you're going to pay a huge amount of money.. and for guys like us who just listen to music simply for pleasure, you're not going to be able to tell the difference.

We found out on Friday that she has Bell's Palsy.
Woke up on Monday, and it had just hit.
She was under tremendous amounts of stress, and it must've triggered.

So far I've had a pretty good day today.

I had an excellent weekend, too. Saturday night I went to my "diners club" for the first time in three months; this time there were eight people. We had it at a Chilis restaurant...and most of the attendees this time were ladies, three of which were close in age to me. In fact, I sat on the side of the table with themand chatted. I had met two of these three gals before; they all seem real nice. :) I would've talked about this sooner, but I was kinda busy yesterday.

I'm having a good day so far and looking forward to working 6 hours tomorrow and 5 1/2 hours on Wednesday.

Teela is slated for a tooth extraction today, but I don't know if they can do it.
Her abscess is still pretty prominent.

Training for my job is super boring.  For over 5 hours straight, we had to listen to this windbag blow hot air about corporate policies, etc during the orientation.  He was a nice guy and all, but sitting listening to him give a lecture at like 9pm in the evening is boring with a capital ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

So boring it was, I swear, if the whole job day after day was listening to boring lectures, I wouldn't care if they paid me a million dollars an hour, I'd be out the door faster than kids escaping the neverland ranch.  Luckily, I've got only 2 weeks and 4 days left of training.  Then once I get out on the floor at a cubicle, it will be so awesome.  A cubicle of my own, my work, and the surroundings of my fellow co-workers. 

There are 15 of us training, and I am one of only (i believe) 6 other people over the age of 25.  There's one smart ass guy who's only 20.  He's the typical obnoxious guy who clowns around to the point where you just want to punch him.  He got snapped at during the orientation lecture because he said he was having trouble staying awake lol

We are not allowed to have mp3 players at our workstations, but we are allowed discmans.  Luckily I still have one.  I mean do stores even sell portable CD Players anymore ? ;D

cheer up Wayne....believe me...I've had many days where Vaughn was hell on two feet. There have been times when I just wanted to crawl in a hole and die. It will be ok. :)
Regarding the weight thing...I know how hard it is to be overweight. I have been literally working my butt off exercising, eating healthy, etc...but the lbs just are not coming off...however, I can tell that I must be losing inches because my clothes fit bitter and I look better in them. Don't be too discouraged. :)


As for me....The PTA meeting went well....tons of opinions/questions/voting/nominations/etc....I signed up for a few committees...so, I'm hoping to meet some people there.

I've never been a small person, unless you count the year or so when I starved myself down to 171 lbs.
My shoulders are broad, my legs are thick at the thigh (and birdlike from the knee down), and the results from starving myself for so long created a bulge in my stomach that will never completely go away.

I know things will be better, but right now, 284.5 is a pretty heavy weight for me.
The heaviest I have ever been is 295.
(Thus improving my Meat Loaf imitation)

Surprisingly, my breathing, heart and blood pressure are all in superior shape, according to my doctor.

I'm a friggin nun right now, without the religion aspect. Been like this since I broke up with Joe (for the boy!) in July. I'm even thinking about quitting cigarettes. NOT because of the boy, but I talked to a reformed-smoker friend about how it's literally killing me. I feel the effects everyday walking to class and going up and down stairs. Plus, the boy would be glad if I did quit, which motivates me in a way.

It is a good job, but so far it's snooze city.  The worst thing about starting a new job is the training portion.  8 hours in a small conference room listening to lectures.  2 weeks and 2 days to go

So I had tickets for the Saturday game against the Cubs... and I decided to go look on E-Bay to see if I could go to another game in the series.

I don't blame ya. Over the summer I applied for a job position and ended up playing phone tag with this guy at the company. When he finally called me back and got through to me, he said that the reason he hadn't called me back right away was because the business was going so slowly at the place, but he would let me know when they start picking up again.

I finally recieved my ATM Card from the bank today,I'm so happy and I'm looking forward to be shown how to use one and the machine as well.

I don't blame ya. Over the summer I applied for a job position and ended up playing phone tag with this guy at the company. When he finally called me back and got through to me, he said that the reason he hadn't called me back right away was because the business was going so slowly at the place, but he would let me know when they start picking up again.

The dentist we drew was a world-class jackass.
He didn't wait long enough for the anaesthetic to take effect, before he pulled it.
He was rather rough and brusque with her, and damn lucky I didn't knock him out.

I informed the Office that under NO circumstances in the future, do I want him even around her.

The Salvation Army came by and picked up my old bed today. It was a little sad, having slept in that bed for a number of years. My new bed is supposed to come in next week, so I'm pretty excited about that.

So I'm back from holiday, got home yesterday. The weather was lovely I'll post some pics in a bit. Today we are going to chill, Ian's sister and husband came back with us and we are all going to see the comedian Ross Noble tonight. I have eaten so much junk food all week I am going to be on a health kick for the next couple of weeks I think!  ;D

1st ballgame last night, lost, but there was a great rally in then 9th with Jim Edmonds and Ryan Ludwick launching a couple off of Ryan Dempster.

In an hour I'm gonna go pick up my tickets for todays game, then make a people run and go down to the ballpark again.

Wow, I can't believe it is the middle of September already.  I have missed you all very much!  I feel like it has been forever since I've been able to be here (although somehow my home computer still had me logged in for over a week--I thought I logged out the last time I was on, but guess not).  The time has really flown.

Things felt a little out of control for a while, but I feel like I am getting my feet back under me.

In mid-August, I transferred my daughter to the Charter Academy high school for her senior year.  About the same time, she called me hysterical on the phone because my dad bit her on the arm while she was driving him & my mom home from dinner (she was over visiting).  He doesn't remember it.  Talked to my mom and have stepped up being involved in his medical issues.  Took the day off work on the 12th to go to dr appt with them.  He was great and is examining all the possible causes....hopefully it is something controllable and not dementia (there were other strange incidents that we told him about).  I'll go to the appt where they look at the results of his increased blood sugar testing and CT scan.

On Aug 27, we found out that Micah had to have arthroscopic knee surgery.  She had that the first Friday in Sept (3rd day of school).  She was back in school the following Monday.  Surgeon said it went well, but she was surprised by the arthritis etc that was floating around.  She cleaned everything else and is going to do a blood test to see if M has rheumatoid arthritis. 

A week before Ferris started, I got informed that I could pick up a second section of the class I teach every fall.  Now I teach Monday nights at 7 and Tuesday evenings at 5.  I have some great kids and some real "interesting" ones.  I love getting to interact with freshmen.  Work is going great--my boss has been really pleased with my performance.

Monday I take M for her post-op appt and on Tuesday I go back to see if the cervical pre-cancer cells have decided on a repeat performance (I haven't had them in about 10 yrs so I feel pretty good about it).  On Oct 15 I go to a pulmonologist to find out why I am having so much difficulty breathing.  I'm just grateful my doctor hasn't called to tell me it is just because I'm overweight.  ;D

Micah loves her new school.  She can't do football, but she has permission to start a Forensics team (just waiting to see if Admin will come through with the entrance fee before she puts up flyers).  She is also going to go out for the softball team the school is starting, is on the Homecoming Committee, and is thinking about putting her name in for Homecoming Queen.  She loves her teachers and classes and is off to a wonderful start.  She is starting to apply to colleges and Loyola has invited her to do their fast-track application.  We are also going down to Chicago for their Senior open house Oct 13.

About your dad, I do not think it's dementia. Alzheimer's is so cliche nowadays that it seems like I'm just blowing this out of.. well, you know... But anyway, it could very well be Alzheimer's. Go through spells where we rely solely on instincts, then we forget about it.

Well today I have to go to the rental agency and see what's going on with the wall at the front of our house. The guy who looks after the house for our landlady got his brother to come and cut a drainage channel in the concrete out front to free the damp course and in theory solve our damp problem. However when they cut the concrete under the bay window the bricks were so wet they just crumbled away.  :o

This has now become a serious job for a professional builder apparently, only the guy who looks after the house doesn't like paying out for anything so I'm a bit concerned it will be a botched job............

If the owner wants to continue receiving rent, however, it should be pointed out that the foundation materials are in such cruddy shape.
Otherwise, this could result in the house coming off the foundation, entirely....and possible loss of the rental, ultimately.

Author Robert Jordan, whose "Wheel of Time" series of fantasy novels sold millions of copies, died Sunday of a rare blood disease. He was 58.


The Wheel of Time series was one of my favorite and it actually helped me learn to like reading.  There was one more book left for him to write in the series, but he could not beat this disease.  :(

Well, we decided to forego moving once again and just sign a new lease with our apartment complex.  They called today to offer us reduced rent at the same rate as the new apartment (in a different complex) we were going to rent in November.  The new apartment would have been bigger, and here we now have to pay for water, trash and sewer (whereas in previous years we did not have to pay this).  So, in our new agreement we will be paying about 50 less then what we have been paying each month. Not a huge amount of savings of course, but..after looking at the hassle of moving, and renting a U-Haul and paying a new pet deposit (whereas it's already paid here).  I guess the big difference is avoiding back wreching lifting.
At least now I can stop packing things, and truthfully I was not looking forward to carting all of my belongings down a flight of stairs and up two more flights, even though that is good exercise. 

Back to work today.........bah.

I am so tired today. Carlos didn't sleep well which means that I didn't sleep well. He was tossing and turning and kept snuggling up to me-each time waking me up. The poor cat, she usually come up to sleep on my neck for a few minutes but Carlos shooed her away because he had his arm right about where she wanted to lay down. So she cuddled next to me on my pillow.  ;D  Man, it is great to be loved but sometimes I just want to sleep.  :D

I had jury duty this morning but the judge let some of us go, they didn't need everybody and fortunately, I was allowed to go. After leaving the courthouse, I went to the cable company to get a new modem for my internet, came home and got that working, now waiting for their technician to check out my internet signal outside and hopefully resolve the 8 day problem I've been having with no access to the net at night. it's very strange. other than that, my inverted eyelash is poking the cornea of my eye and I have to get the lash removed tomorrow morning. it hurts something fierce. the Doc will refer me to a surgeon for permanant lower eyelash removal as this keeps happening to me every 6 weeks or so. I'm falling apart  ;D

Finally got internet back. Getting used to living in a bigger city where I don't just have to sit around and do squat. I'll probably take the kid to the park today and then come home and make a video of this place so our family and friends in California can see it.

thank you Sir Al.  the eye feels awful, but should be ok after my appointment tomorrow with the Dr.  As for the OJ jury, man, I don't want to be on any jury. I really don't like jury duty, courts, judges, lawyers, not to mention alll those weird jurors but profiting off a high profile trial by writing a book sounds lucrative, but to me it's not worth it.

Yesterday I finished work a little early and went over to my brother's house to see how their house extension is getting on, it's a long way from finished but it looks good.

Today I get to finish work at 5 insteadof 7pm *yay* I have a friend coming over for dinner.  :)

Yesterday,I worked my first very late shift 430-1030pm.After a while,cart collecting seemed to be slowing down cause no one went shopping after 8pm and I kept walking around to see if there were any carts but there were none so after 9,I went in for my mini break of coffee and muffin and washed up,put away my uniform till the next day then went to talk to a few co-workers/friends of mine for the rest of the evening.

...my eye is so so much better after visiting the doctor this morning. she felt so bad that I had suffered and plucked out those evil eyelashes and discovered my cornea got slightly scratched, but will heal up and that a minor infection resulted also. she gave me some eyedrops that have already made me feel 89% better. I go back tomorrow so she can have a look see and then to a surgeon Tuesday for permanant solution. anyways, it's good to ba back here at inthe00s during USA primetime

As for us, a colleague here at the university where I work passed away unexpectedly yesterday.  She was a 38 year old single mother of 3 children and the picture of health the night before.  She was working at FSU part time as well as working on her Master's degree.  Micah is good friends with her oldest who is a sophomore in HS (he is on the JV football team and at the away game so someone went down to get him).  He is also the sophomore representative on the Homecoming court (homecoming parade & game tonight).  It's my understanding that it was the younger kids who found her when they got home from school and couldn't wake her up.
