so today is that "bad luck day" that makes many people feel superstitious or cautious or even afraid to do certain day to day things nornally,  Do you observe any special Friday the 13th roitines, traditions, rituals, and do you have any fears or superstitions that you observe?  or is it just another day?

as for Friday the 13th, I am not superstitious and the day is treated as any other to me.  black cats crossing my path, or stepping on cracks in sidewalks, walk under ladders??  I do them all intentionally  8) 

When this day falls, I tend to keep to and do nothing out of the ordinary, and avoid doing anything new.

Yes, I have to agree that as I've gotten longer in the tooth, like 'Badfinger' .. I've gone out of my way to step on cracks, encounter black cats,  and the like. The human mind being what it is will strive to make connections with anything ... whether right or wrong .......... we are intelligent 'monkeys' ... always looking for meaning ............ because really, in the scheme of things, neanderthal man, who wasn't THAT long ago ........... would be quite capable of doing most if not all the same things we can do now!

The only wierd thing that happened today was at work, I had to pay some bills at work and the first check in the stack was number 59666. Thought that was a little strange. Would've been worse if it was just 666 though.

I'm not superstitious so it's just another day to me, but being born on a Friday the 13th my mother always told me
I was born with a cloud over my head.

Well, it's 9:15 p.m. and nothing unlucky happened today...except I went to get a prescription filled and my doctor wrote just p.o. on the scrip, not p.o. b.i.d., so the stick-in-the-mud pharmacist wouldn't fill it.  SO, I went to my usual pharmacist, and he filled it because I'm a regular there.  But I can't blame Friday 7/13 for my doc being careless on Tuesday 6/05, and I can't blame Friday the 13th for that pharmacist being a stick in the-mud because she's a stick in the mud every day of the year!
