Subject: Spiders? what spiders...

With the new and improved server, I can no longer make those "search engine friendly" links for all the topics, (http://www.inthe00s.com/topic1234,0.html for example). So rather than have the server get hit for two solid months with tons of spiders, I've decided to block them from trying to index all the new URLs for all the old data.
Instead, I'll just be working on making the archive section stay more up to date.

yeah, it appears MSN hasn't read the robots file yet... it may just be slower than the others.

Maybe it'll make the site run faster.

I won't miss those spiders. I once caught one of those spiders editing their profile, which isn't possible, or is it?

it probably followed an edit link, but it wouldn't have saved any changes or anything.
