I am feeling good.  It took a long long time, but we have finally gotten SSDI for my brother.  The hardest part was getting him to apply, I had to trick him into the office, then we had to get him to see doctors, which was just as difficult, then we were rejected and had to appeal which meant tricking him into a lawyers office, and dragging him to more doctor visits and it was just holy he!!.  Anyway, at the appeal the judge not only found in our favor, but granted him retro to June 2001!  That could end up being amended, which can happen so we won't depend on all that retro, but at least we have him on SSDI, and they can't take that back.  :)

February started off badly for me. For the first four days my Link Worker was absent and for the past few days I was really upset because I hardly saw her all week - just for 10 minutes last Wednesday. Decent night of work last night... I was alone in the kitchen for 3 hours.. it wasn't bad, it was just lonely and boring.. so they let me put in my earphones.. and then my phone rang. At one point, I was simultaneously making 3 Double-Cheeseburgers, Telling my mom I had a coat and to stop calling me while I'm at work if it's not an emergency, and I had really pissed-off Thrash Metal in my other ear (It changed from Leonard Cohen about halfway through my mom's phone call). ;D

I'm irritated that I have to go to school today (and make the 1/2 mile trek from one building to another in sub-zero weather) while my kids get to stay home where it's nice and toasty >:(  What makes it even worse is I have no long underwear so I have to wear pajama pants under my regular pants ::)

Through an old program of mine and they used to help people with disabilaties get volunteer sites and paying jobs out in the community.

Sometimes I feel like I haven't really studied enough, but then I figured that I've learned essentially the same kinds of stuff for pretty much the last 10 years now so whatever they throw at me I'll probably be able to handle...I hate tests though :P

Yeah...molecular biology.  Essentially, like I said, crap I learned in various forms over the past 10 years (also studied it quite a bit in research laboratories) but they made me take the class anyway because I'm rusty or something.
