Also, do you like the smell of gas? For some odd reason I do. I have liked it ever since I was a little girl  :D

I do.  I don't really have strong feelings about the smell of gas - if anything it reminds me of mowing the lawn, because whenever I fill the lawn mower I somehow manage to spill it everywhere.  ;D

I hate pumping gas-always have and avoid it if I can. Hubby usually does it (but I pay-sometimes). As for the smell of gas, I used to like it as a kid, but now, I'm not too sure.

I do that too. Gasoline always reminds me of stern debates with the garage door because it wasn't wide enough to get the mower out.  ;D

If Chris and I are in the car together, he will pump it. And...I absolutely LOVE the smell of gasoline! :D

I pump the gas myself (most places around here are self-serve now)...and I hate the smell of gas!  :P

If my boyfriend is in the car with me, we'll kinda take turns - but I don't expect it. I usually have no problem pumping gas and the smell does not bother me.

I love that smell, though my mom doesn't let me pump the gas unless I'm driving myself.. general rule for my family is driver pumps the gas.

There aren't any full serve gas stations around here anymore.  I pump it myself unless hubby is in the car then he'll pump it, I don't mind the smell of gas but I don't love it.

I love the smell of gas, it used to smell even better when it had lead in it.  Don't know why but I just love it.

I pump my own... I don't have much choice in the matter.  ;D As for the smell of gas, I don't really pay much attention to it anymore.

I remember even as a young kid in the mid-late '80s getting full service at a gas station. We'd pop into our Unicol 76 station have a guy come out and ask if we were getting service or self serve. My mom would decide and go from there. They'd kinda chat things up and then ask if we'd like a car wash. We'd get car washes, but I HATED the car wash machine. It was the more old fashioned kind where that thing that swept across the windsheild looked like a big hairy monster.

No one, because I don't have a car.  For everyone else though, whoever drives the car fills the tank.

There aren't many Full Service stations around here, so Self Service stations are it, and I usually do the pumping.  I like those little locks on the gas handle so you can let the gas pump itself while you clean your windows.  One thing I learned .. do not let it go too long, or your gas tank will overflow and spill everywhere :-[

There is a law in I think Arizona state (?) where there are only full service stations/  But round here it's also few and far between to find service.  I do for myself.  One of the sad "perks" of being a driver.  I carry sanitizer gel for after the gas pump.  eliminates 1000's of germs and the kid formula citrus scent helps combat the gas smell a little.

I do.  Not too keen on the smell.  Reminds me of being travel sick as a kid for some reason.

I'm not sure if there is anywhere you can get served any more.  A few years ago there was a place in a nearby village but that might have closed since the by-pass was built.

Oh boy, I thought that most pumps topped off at a certain point. Mine will just stop on it's own (if I use that lock or not).
