Subject: So the weirdness continues...............
Written By: Gis on 01/07/07 at 4:02 am
Ok so you know how Erin posted that someone left a load of tins on her doorstep over chrismas and I said we came home to find some of our fence had been stolen?
Well last night I answered a callof nature at about 9.45. On my way upstairs to the toilet I noticed a car on our drive with it's engine running through the frosted window in our front door. A lot of the houses in our street don't have driveways and people always use our drive to turn round in, or park alongside the curb outside our house as we don't have a car(GRRR). Anyway I went to the front bedroom window to look out and see what was occuring and the car has gone but our liberated fence has been replaced!?! As in neatly screwed back into place................
Do you think someone felt it needed a christmas holiday and brought it back now it's twelfth night??
Or maybe the guy who is looking after the house for our landlady and runs the funeral parlour round the corner and said he'd fix it really is a creature of the night. :o

Eh? Now that's crazy. :o Must be something in the cool English air. How and why would someone steal a "fence"? Maybe he was in desperate need of firewood (assuming the fence was wooden) and decided to "pay you back" after he got paid or something.

That is odd, too bad you weren't able to catch a glimpse.

Maybe it was that pixie in a tutu that's been seen running around London?

Makes you wonder why someone would steal your fence to begin with? Wood isn't exactly worth the price of gold :D

Once, a storm broke our fence in half.

Somebody stole your fence, and returned it. :o that is weird. the guilt of stealing your fence must have been eating them up inside or else it was the wrong color. I'm glad you got your fence back Gis
