Subject: Feel Good Commercials

What commercials give you a good feeling when you see them?
I like:
The Hidden Valley Ranch commercial....it's usually peaceful and serene
The ones that advertise that medicine that helps you sleep (Lunesta?)....everytime I see it it makes me feel rested and cozy
The Kleenex one with the little cartoonish/puppet looking figures with the stuffy red noses...so cute
The place called "Perfect"....that advertises Walgreens....I wanna go there! ;)
The Campbells soup commercial that shows a snowman eating chicken noodle soup, and then turning into a little boy
All of the Hallmark commercials...especially around the holidays
Folgers Coffee commercials....very family oriented commercials

^^the Walgreens commercials and those MasterCard "Priceless" commercials. My favorite coffee commercial (I think it was Maxwell House) was when the older son came home from college and made coffee and it woke up his family and they came downstairs and saw him and started hugging and crying.....I can't watch that without crying like a 4 year old.

I LOVE that Mini-Wheats commercial based on the old song "Agadou Dou Dou".

In Canada, Mr. Mini-Wheat has been in great commercials. In the late 80s and early 90s, he used to sit in a psychiatrists office and talk about his Frosted side and at the end of the commercial, he would say "Stupendous!" ;D

A good number of commercials with a "jingle", especially anything to do with food, have a feelgood vibe. Remember those Mentos ads around 1995 that went: "It doesn't matter what comes, fresh goes better in life, with Mentos fresh and full of life"?
I agree the Folgers commercials have a nice, comforting feeling.

I loved that Mentos jingle. The commercials were quite corny though, especially that one where the guy pretends to be a mannequin, or the one where the guy limbs through the limo to get across the street :D

Is it just me, or does anyone else get an extremely cozy feeling when they see a commercial of someone sleeping in bed? :D

no, just any commercial in general that shows people cozily sleeping in their beds at night (like the night-time cold medicine ones, the sleeping medicine ones, etc.)

The commercial I like, I don't remember what product, but two guys are walking out of the house with--
The Clash--playing in the backround, The one guy makes a locking motion and says "Lock the cash box."
The other guy says "Did he say, stop the cat box." They both agree, then proceed to sing "Stop the cat box."

LOL!! Every time I see that one I think of my husband, he's constantly making up lyrics.
One that makes me laugh is for Office Depot (I think). You hear the Christmas Song playing "It's the most wonderful time of the year" and a guy riding with one leg up on his shopping cart, going up and down the isles. Behind him are two kids walking with really sad faces. They're buying school supplies.

There is this Budweiser commercial that played during the Superbowl last year where this little baby Clydesdale is trying to pull the wagon with all it's might and can't budge it, but then the "mom and dad" Clydesdale sneak up from behind and push it, so the baby thinks he's made it move...I'm getting all teary just describing it. :\'(
