I have lots of idiotic moments at work.. for instance, I'll walk into a patient's room, I'll bring a new bag of IV fluids, but forget the tubing. I'll bring medications in, but forget to bring them fresh ice water so then have to quick grab some tepid tap water for them because the pills are melting in their mouth. Or I'll go to change a dressing, and run out of tape, and have to stop and take my gloves off, go get more tape, wash my hands again, and re glove and finish the dressing change. Now this doesn't happen all the time, but these are typical things that happen that if I should just 'use my head, I'd save my feet' :P

I found that thread actually and saw the remark.. I went hunting for a locked thread that was started recently. and I also just saw your post on the postage stamp bigot thread... Kudos to you!!

I've been in computer training all week, because we are going to be converting all the hospital charts to computer documentation soon.. so I've been going to bed at about 7 or 8 pm cuz I've had to get up at 4 am to be down at work by 5:30am to catch this shuttle that took us to this hospital over in Minneapolis for the training.
And speaking of feeling like an idiot... I was watching all these young whippersnappers all week goof off on their computers and not really pay any attention and I thought wow.. how are they gonna remember all this? and sure enough the test came yesterday and they were all done within 20 minutes... I took the entire 3 hours to take the test. Talk about feeling like an idiot..

I did pass though.. got 95% :)

Yeah, I've found if you just throw them in the dryer for a couple of cycles, it usually takes the wrinkles out.

It can cause your clothes to smell if you just let wet clothes sit there for god knows how long without taking them out and putting them in the dryer.  You then have to re-wash them and while it's not overtly time-consuming, it is a pain in the ass.
