What was your favorite, or least favorite thing that happened in the news of 2006?

I don't know about favorites, but my least favorites would have to be the war of course, and all of the recent school shootings. I work in a high school, so they really hit home for me.

I think the best news stories are the ones that don't make the 6 o'clock news. The stories about heroic people, improvements in technology, decreases in crime & unemployment rates, generous people, new cures for diseases, etc.

I think 2006 had it's moments.It was sort of like an up and down year.
