Subject: what we thought then and what we know now!!!

My daughter and I were discussing some cartoons that used to be on (some still are) anyways, I thought that would make a good thread.
I will start by letting you know what we came up with for the cartoon "Winnie the Pooh"
characters:
Pooh- always thought he was cuddly-now we know he has an eating disorder
Piglet-another cute little guy - we now know that he was paranoid
tigger-hyper and silly-now we figure he had ADD (attention deficit disorder)
gopher-not sure what I thought of him except he had a facination of blowing things up
owl was always a mister know it all
rabbit-a stuffy old fool - then and now
Eyeore-always my favorite - he was always sad but now we figure he was homeless and had a severe case of depression.

Scooby Doo characters:
Freddie- we thought he was cute, now he's a "metrosexual"
Velma- she was smart, now she's an "overachiever, type A"
Daphne- was pretty and stylish - now she's a "shopaholic"
Scooby Doo and Shaggy- always hungry and afraid of "monsters", now we know WHY we shouldn't do drugs http://www.inthe00s.com/smile/01/anim-jjd.gif

I once did a paper for a Children's Lit course where I compared these characters to characters from Greek Mythology.
