I haven't.

I have packed on some extra pounds. I was around 105lbs, now I am lingering at 110-115lbs.

Packed on a few kg's & lost some hair

slightly more insane  :D

getting married and having a kid I think were the biggest changes in the past 8 years (wow, I've had a messageboard for close to 8 years)

lost some weight (about 15 lbs so far).....lost a LOT of hair (got about 7 inches cut off). :D....and made a LOT of great friends that I didn't have prior to joining this site. ;) :)

Man, I thought this was gonna be a personality thing...

I type a lot better now. I've grown a hatred for "LOL", "LMAO", and "LOL!!!!". My taste in music has also made a turn for the better.

To make a long, complicated story short, my last three boyfriends were from this site. One I married and had a kid with. I also lost weight, and then gained it back. Then I lost an inch while I was pregnant.

All the good stuff that has happened to me since I joined here seven years ago outweighs the bad. :)

I've lost a few pounds(actually about 55-60) and gained some hair. I had short hair when I first came here 2 years ago, and its down to my shoulders now.

Hey, I got lucky too!  :D

As being one of the members that have been here for a long time, I will say that I opened up more to people once Chucky changed the board format to YaBB, and I made some great friends and acquaintances here.  Met a few, talked to a few others on the phone, and have had a good time.   :)

How have i changed?  I haven't actually.  I am wearing the same underwear I had on when I joined the site :D

*I sleep in the buff a lot more
*I have gotten better at eating meals at the computer

I do a lot less work in the office and I make mental notes of one-word song titles.

Lost some weight. Got married. Quit a voluteer prosition as Food Shelf Coordinator (not because of the message board but because of the B.S. going on there).  Procastinate more. Bought half the house. No longer a landlady. Overall, I would say that life has been good since joining this board.

:(  I've lost a few loved ones and special pets since I first "signed on" & I am definitely a bit stronger for having gone thru these losses.

I've become more open minded and well informed of pop culture events, as well as lost 20 pounds.

More and more of my conversations and interactions with family and friends is starting to contain excerpts and quotes and info derived from the board.

You know what, I think it's the same deal with me, too. I guess that's fairly common, though. Maybe it's because of that "burst post" streak people can get when they're really excited about a new place and have so much to say all at once. When you feel like you can't type fast enough before the thought escapes you, lol.

I'm sorta still that way if I want to rush and get something out in time for someone to see it. In the beginning, I hastily posted stuff when it was super busy on the board. Say, with the decadeology talks me and Donnie had, among others (sorry to bring it up for people who don't like that, but it's a good example for me). ;)

I've learned alot about people.  How sensitive, rude, mean, nice, and caring people can be.  I've also learned that now matter how hard you try, you're not going to convince someone that your opinion is the right and only way.  (thanks to reading posts from Alex, Harmonica and all the political threads :D) Sometimes there is no use trying to explain and you have to figure out when to stop.

It's probably quite common, when you're fairly new on the scene, or even if you've been here awhile, you post something and you yourself know what you mean, but clearly nobody else does  ;D  If you said it in person, the meaning would be clear, but on the board, a joke, or some feeling or message you're trying to share can be missed and people may not understand what you meant.

I agree. I think the answer also lies in the fact that we get more "comfortable" as we get to know people and the board in general (kinda like real life, actually). So we relax a bit after awhile and become ourselves. Yeah, I've also looked at rushed posts I've made a year or two ago and cringe, lol - but it's the same deal with any board I've been a part of.

this is the only one I've been a part of, and cringe is an accurate word for some of those earlier hasty posts.  ;D almost as bad as when I tried to sing Open Arms at the local bar on Kareoke night. I had had a few too many tequilas, kamikazes, beers and my friend & his wife talked me into it. everytime I think back on that night I CRINGE in horror  :-[

Well I have been posting since 2002 on this site I think and this is the way I have changed:

-My face has gotten more masculaine.

-I have gained about 10-15 pounds since joining this site

-Be more assertive-I used to be a "nice guy" but I had gotten taken advantage of alot so I try to be nice but still not be a pushover.

-Be more outgoing-Don't lock yourself in the house on the weekend and be a homebody.

Speaking of karaoke, I can't sing either, but it's fun to try, lol. I don't do "vocalized" singing very well, so I couldn't do Journey. I'm cool with fast talking-esque ones, though. Like, say "Semi-charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind.
