Subject: How do you want to die?

I was pondering this after reading some of the ramblings of the guy who opened fire in the college up in Montreal.
His answer was 'Like Romeo & Juliet, or in a hail of bullets.'
Guy knows what he's talking about.
I'm thinking I'd like to die in a glorious fashion, maybe taking a bullet for somebody or infiltrating a terrorist cell and being riddled with bullets as I make my last stand blasting MFer's with an AK.
I'd do just about anything to avoid dieing of some horrible terminal disease, if I was diagnosed with some untreatable form of Cancer of something, I'd totally be out in the Middle East. Book my own plane ticket, buy my own rifle and open up the biggest can of whoopass the desert had ever seen.. then get shot in the head or something.
So how would you guys like to die?

Personally, the worst possible death for me would be getting trapped underwater and drowning.. ugh.. gives me shivers thinking about it. An uncurable disease also charts quite highly on my list of ways I don't want to die

I too would like to die peacefully in my sleep.
I also have a fear of getting trapped underwater and drowning. I could hyperventilate just thinking about it.

I'll join the "Peacefully" crowd -- although I don't want to be sleeping when it happens. I want to be 101 years old and healthy....and just decide one sunny afternoon that I'm ready to move on....sit down in my favorite chair and leave with a smile on my face.

slow, prolonged and very painfull. One thing is for sure, I don't want to be devoured and consumned by any animal, that would suck, to end up as shark poop.

Suicide is the weak way out, anyway, if I really was intent on killing myself, I'd let the police do it for me. I'd go out and cause the biggest scene possible and start shooting innocent people walking past, then I'd open fire at the cops, the bullets would soon come at me. :)

Perhaps, but usually the thoughts I have are about some @$$hole who has did me or my family or friends wrong in a major way, not some innocent bystander who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time because you decided it's a good day to die and you're going to take someone out with you.
Sounds like you've thought about this quite a bit. I hope someone gets to you before you decide to go do some "population trimming".

Being serious here for a moment:
I'd either like to die of old age in my sleep, or of a really massive heart attack. If a heart attack is bad enough, you see, you'll die before you even really have a chance to feel any pain or realise whats going on.
