I've learned to deal with it.Been taking public transportation for almost 20 years.I'm going to most likely look into getting a used car.

I'm sure certain things about public transportation can be annoying, but I'd still find trying to drive a car in New York way too much of a hassle.

Driving in NYC? He'd be better off chopping his legs off and doing the worm around the city. NYC has one of the best transit systems in the US in terms of number of routes....you literally can go anywhere.

NYC has one of the best transit systems in the US in terms of number of routes....you literally can go anywhere.
Thats what I was saying, too. A few annoyances are not cause for taking up the HUGE burden of trying to drive in NYC.

It's the same beef I have with people who bitch about driving around downtown Chicago. I don't know why they do it. We have 6 train lines; they run from both airports, into the suburbs and then into the downtown. We have over 100 bus routes....there is no good reason to drive downtown. There is limited parking, there is always traffic and you have to deal with tons of pedestrians.
