Who here reads while going to the bathroom? What do you read?

If I'm in the middle of a book, I'll read that =P, or if not, I'll just rread the labels of various bathroom products.

Good for you.  I saw a lady at the movies....the movie let out and she called a friend on her cell phone as she walked from the theater to the ladies' room....and she walked right into the stall and never stopped talking.  She talked the whole time she was in there.  It's just plain WRONG.  ;D

(and, personally, I don't spend enough time in the bathroom to read anything.  But when my kids were little, sure, I'd go in there just to read).

Yeah, that is a bit extreme. I'll read on the toilet, but there is no way in hell I'm going to talk to someone on the phone while doing my business.

And what Mama K said is true. Once you have kids, that's usually the only time you get to yourself, so sometimes I will sit in there and finish a chapter or two of a book. Of course, this doesn't apply during the day when it's just me and the spawn. :P

I hate to admit it,  but I have talked to a few of my friends while on the pot. I tired so hard not to let them know though.  :-[  But it seems THEY call me with a dire emergency , and my daughter hands the phone to me, even thought I'm yelling, "I'll call them back!!!"

XD I have made calls to kill two birds with one stone... But I don't go calling friends just to talk or anything. o_O.

I'm not much of a reader (apart from the games magazine I get every month), but I have been known to read on the toilet occassionally - it all depends how long i'm gonna be on it for!

You can purchase magazine racks or baskets. That's what I use to do and then they looked very nice and clean. But, once you take a shower, those mags tend to curl, so I put stuff in there that I don't mind getting messed up.

I pretty much am one myself. I clean it everyday just about to keep it up. Unfortunately, because I work 5 days a week, I do major cleanings every 2 weeks and keep it tidied up in the meantime (like soft scrubbing the sink, cleaning the toilet, wiping away dust from the air vent, etc). I also have a man to clean up after, so sometimes it seems to be more of a challenge.  ;D
