Thanks guys and gals, I sure do appreciate it. You're a great bunch!
Anyway, I insisted on a slightly retro birthday for my 30th, so we ordered a cake from this old bakery that still does the same gaudy looking kaleidoscope cakes as they did in the 70s... I swear absolutely nothing has changed! It cost us next to nothing, but then again there's no price for nostalgia!
And yes Rich you gave me a run for my money! Thankfully my dark mahjong playing marathons are behind me now.
And the fantastic multi-coloured gem of a cake...
