I'm gonna miss you all and this board a lot, but I have to go on vacation. I'll be back next Friday August 4.  It's our annual trip to Lake Tahoe. I'll be leaving tomorrow morning so I may be able to get one last post in before we take off up to the mountains for the week. The weather should be beautiful, and there's gonna be about 15 of us from 5 families. I'm looking forward to hanging out by the pool and the lake during the day, and hitting the casinos at night, who knows, maybe get lucky and win a jackpot. That'd be cool. I'll be around today & tonight. Take it Easy  8)

thanks Philip, I'm glad I am back too.  I went to South Lake Tahoe. Lake Tahoe is half in California, and the other half in Nevada. yes, they have black bears that come in fairly close, supposedly one was spotted late at night behind one of the casinos while we were up there. They are not large ones, but they are wild. Of course California's state flag is a golden grizzly bear, but there are no longer any grizzlies in this state. I've never seen a bear up at Lake Tahoe, but they have signs up for motorists to watch out as they drive, to avoid hitting them with their cars.

it was a good trip, the weather was a beautiful 80 degrees everyday. It was a nice week of relaxing and eating good food and a little gambling, and I hung out by the pool with my wife a lot. thanks for asking Howard.  :)
