Whistle no, snap fingers only on my left hand.

I can whistle, but only if I spend about 2 hours working at it. 

I can't whistle with 2 fingers.

Snap: better on my right hand (maybe that's cause I'm right handed). Whistle: not very well.

I get one good whistle then it dies. I tend to start laughing anyways.

I don't know what the requisite physical makeup is more snapping/clicking your fingers, or whistling, for that matter is. I think that's the main factor, rather than technique or practice.

When I was young I never really practiced whistling, but I could snap a finger at will at anyone.

Me neither. It's probably best to start out doing it slow, then when you get the hang of it, gradually speed it up.

I've never been able to do that loud whistling with my fingers (as someone else mentioned).  But I can whistle quite well otherwise.  Someone once said I was the only person they'd ever heard whistling classical music.  That's me.

And how about blowing a bubble.  I've known only a couple of people who can't do that.

Whistle? Sadly, no.

I admit that I ain't good at whistlin' at all.

When someone can't whistle even when they practice and get the 'technique' right, does it mean their lips are just not physically capable of whistling? With alot of practice a faint whistle-like sound comes out for like a second, but then it dies just as suddenly.
