I have my own online Ebay business, in which I sell items for others on Ebay. I specialize in retro/vintage goods but I will sell just about anything.
I have also taken pictures on the side for different plays.
AND...last but certainly not least...I stay at home with Vaughn! :)

Is this an official business, or just something that you do? Do you get any money for this? Sorry, if I'm prying. :P

Yes, I get money....I split the earnings 50/50 with the person. It started as something I just did here and there...but I am hoping that it picks up soon.

well, I don't actually make 50%....because after taking away all of the seller's fees, paypal fees, etc...I end up making anywhere from 35-40% or so.

I used to be a Data Entry Clerk for the Provincial Government, which I did for nearly 3 years, but lately, the jobs aren't pouring in, so I take temp jobs until I can get a permanent Office Job.
Office work is the best. I love it 8)

I just applied for a job as a student advisor at a local university. That would be more in line with what I'd like to do in the long run.

My mom worked. :(
It bummed me out at times as a kid because where I lived a lot of the kid's had stay-at-home moms and I'd see them come up to the school and help with different functions and they'd go on field trips and all that. But my mom really HAD to work at our house. Shes even told me before she would have preferred not to work. I wonder if thats the case with very many other women. ???

I was married 11 years before I had my first child, so up until that point I had worked outside of the home everday. Had I had my daughter when I was 22 instead of 32 I would have had to keep working. I feel very fortunate to be able to stay home and I'm so thankful that my husband can support us.
Same situation for me. The biggest reason I stopped working is because I was in the military and didn't want to deploy and leave my kids with someone while I put myself in danger. I didn't want to risk that. We agreed that it was best for me to not go back to work and just stay with the kids.

I was working at a boarding school and acting as a guardian to the girls who boarded there, but after 2 years I left and started a new job back with the (crumbling) NHS as an administrator - I swore in 1996 I'd never return after I'd spent 10 years pushing pens and bits of paper around a sodding desk, but I took a part time job and started on the 19th June. I left after one week, recalling in 1996 being told "very soon we will be a paperless institution as everything is being input onto computers" Last week on my first day back I see there is masses MORE paper than ever so that statement was rubbish ::) ;D ::)
