we can call it the library/the reading room...Thread Ideas:  it's for member writing (including the film), or links to good reading about pop-related stuff (decade-specific) and smalll essays by members about their favorite time, band, book, movie...anything pop culture.

A thread on retro malls, sure it would probably be only frequented by about three members  ;D, but heck, I'm willing to moderate it.

(cry of the penguins because i wanna keep with the overall theme of the board and that appears to be the only movie from the 1970s about penguins -- and it stars the luminous and talented hayley mills! i think that's a good sign.)

it could be a "Child board" of the 1970s board sorta like how current politics/religion is a child board of the 2000s board. but i dunno how you wanna work that technical stuff...

Ok, I set up a bunch of new boards.  Hopefully the moderators are setup properly for them. 

For now, I've set them up in a "new boards" category.  Depending on how they work out, I'll probably move them around into proper categories at some point.

I think what I would really like to do would be a board called "Food, Glorious Food"

Threads would be about restaurants of all kinds, favourite foods, junk food, beverages, recipes (Quirk) and talk of different cuisines from all around the globe! Name brands that are different but offer the same product in other countries, brands and things that no longer exist. Everything FOOD!

Master of Reality and I could work on this together.

It's for album reviews and music video discussions too.  You can talk about bands, singers you like, discuss your favourite albums and music videos.  It doesn't necessarily have to be in like a biography/discography style.  You can talk about upcoming albums, concert reviews ... at whistledog's board, all musical stylings are welcome :)
