I'm creating my own language, would anyone be interesting in helping? What do you is combine word roots together to create words (sometimes you have to be creative: for instance "anger/passion" is fire + emotion).
The roots are far from done.

I sort of created a language for my fantasy world, but not as detailed as that.

And if you notice they're stupid, just ask them to be changed. :)

I love this. I think it's fun and very creative. But, gosh, I'd have to print it all out and see what words and roots you've got and then create some new words.
I did a similar exercise at a poetry conference recently. The leaders of this particular class were native Americans (I don't remember which tribe) and we were talking about their language and how it has adapted to new technology (did they invent a new word for "Computer" for instance). Apparently, they combined words from the core language to create new words. Their term for e-mail, then, translates directly at "words on the wind". Fascinating. :)
