The nearest member I know apart from BrianMannixGirl lives in Sydney - which is a 5 hour flight away. Don't really know her that well anyway. I'd definitely try and catch up with some of the members here when I travel overseas, and they were willing.

Philip Eno lives somewhere in London but I can't recall where exactly. Bobby is about 250 miles from me, depending on the route and about the same from London I think.

Bitch of the South is something one of my professors called me in jest when I was in college. 

It does not disgust me in the slightest. I think there's been some friction between us in other posts ... which is unfortunate, as I like to get along with everybody. Anyway, take it or leave it, I've tried to give you an honest compliment / to make your day ... whatever, and it's meant in a nice way. It's yours to accept and enjoy, or you can analyze away and reject it ... the choice is yours.

By the way, once you've gotten to the Australia map, you can zoom in on it further with the +/- scale. Sydney suffice for me ... it may be possible to zoom into the level of a suburb of Sydney, and edit your details ... although on a world map, the location difference would be insignificant, so I wouldn't bother.

Bit scary how you can reposition your 'pin' to show EXACTLY where you live (ie: what street... even house, in some parts).

Ok Amanda ... here's what worked for me:

Click on this link (also on page1 of this thread):

Then register on that site ... ie; fill in the details to the right of the USA map (an email required, also you have to enter a code that appears. In my case a zero and the letter 'O'  were easily confused, so you might need repeated attempts. Having done all that, (including clicking on the 'send' button, thus registering), you will need to get up the map of Australia, to confirm your appearance on it, since that's where you are. This is (from memory ...  hope I've not missed a step ....) what I did ...

Clicked once on the down arrow  sign  above '+' sign on +/- scale
Clicked once on left arrow
Clicked once more on down arrow

I'm a tad technically challenged at times  :D :-Australia! Since you are registered, and assuming you put in Sydney in the 'Add to Map', I expect you will appear right next to me (there's only one currently where Sydney is ... that's me. Over in W.A. is Trimac20, whilst Luke is over there in NZ.When you click on the icon, it should show your name. Hope this all helps.

Did you scroll the map across to the UK and zoom in on the approximate area before trying to register your location?  That's what I did.  Mind you there might not be a similarly named place in the US.

I had to get logged in as living in London and then I was able to change it to Oxford, it seems to overide by default to the U.S otherwise.

Aye...their old ground ('The Huish') certainly did have a walloper of a slope, but not as evident (or as severe) as Wycombe's Loakes Park, which was gouged out the side of a hill, so I'm led to believe!

Loakes Park had a deviation of approx.12 feet between the corner flags, making it devilishly difficult (nay, impossible!) to win there! Taking corners was hilarious! The best we could manage in 10 seasons was a draw!

It's a bit tricky trying to figure that thing out.  I made more than one mistake, but thanks to Luke (GRS) it's been taken care of now.  If you don't get a response from Admin, Rob, then I'd try sending a PM directly to Luke.  :)
