peanut butter on one slice and jelly on the other.....I don't know why I always do that when it won't matter when I eat it because it's all going to the same place. I guess I'm compulsive like that :D

Only peanut butter ... I don't mind jelly though.

I've never understood the whole peanut butter and jam (as we call it) thing. I tried it once and was one of the most vile things I've ever tried!  :P

Although sometimes I make a grilled peanut butter sandwich.  You start it out like you would a grilled cheese sandwich, putting butter on the outside of 2 pieces of bread, but instead of cheese in the middle, you put peanut butter.  The heat melts it down and makes it runny and gooey...... http://www.imagemagician.org/images/diamond/drool.gif

Sometimes I put the peanut butter and jelly on slice-sometimes I put each one on a different slice. Depends on my mood. But it HAS to be chucky peanut butter and for jelly, either apple or strawberry. Not big on grape jelly which I can eat but I prefer the other two kinds better.

Is peanut butter and jelly more of an American thing?  My husband is from Yugoslavia and he said he had never had it until he came to the US.  I also noticed that most of the people on this thread that said they don't care for it are from countries other than the US.

Gotta be peanut butter on one slice and jelly on the other, and it has to be grape jelly and the peanut butter has to be smooth and put on really thick. Tony makes them with the peanut butter spread on way too thin.  :P  See, this isn't a pointless thread at all. Makes perfect sense to me!  ;D
