Probably a real ??? question, but a question for ChuckyG, what inspired you to use penguins to denote members of inthe00s.com? Do Penguins have some hidden significance? Or did you think, what the heck, penguins are cool...

It's been penguins in some form or other ever since I've been a member. Before the board crash it was different types of penguin such as King, Rockhopper, Gentoo, Royal, Chinstrap and Macroni. Only Chucky was an Emperor penguin

because it was easy to make rankings with.
I knew there were a few different classes of penguins, and it didn't have anything to do with a particular decade, culture, etc.
The first one was penguins by their approximate sizes (not strictly though).
The current system is fictional penguins by how cool I think they are. Sadly, the Madagascar movie penguins did not get a ranking sine they appeared after I changed the rankings.

Penguins are making big screen comebacks - first with March of the Penguins and next with the cute animated musical Happy Feet - made by George Miller (the guy who made Babe).
