Hey Canadians--
my husband was off to PEI for the East Coast Music Awards.
I have some questions about what it means to you and about the artists there..
Is it a BIG deal? How pretigious are the awards given?
I knowJoel Plaskett won songwriter of the year...know him? like him? (one of the guys my husband will be working with soon)
and it is nationally televised?

The East Coast Music awards are televised on CBC (Canadian Broadcasting Corporation). I don't know much about these awards as I have never seen them before. Usually the artists that get nominated for awards, I have never heard of before. They aren't as big as the Juno Awards, as the Juno is the Canadian equivalent of the Grammy Award
