Wilson Pickett, the soul pioneer best known for the fiery hits ``Mustang Sally'' and ``In The Midnight Hour,'' died of a heart attack Thursday, according to his management company. He was 64.

I was sad to hear this news on the radio last night, the BBC also played a number of his songs in memoriam - "Land Of A Thousand Dances", "Mustang Sally", "In The Midnight Hour" - what a tremendous voice he had, what an entertainer. Sadly missed :(.
