Sometimes he sees my math skills go down the drain when I try figuring large numbers out loud. He just looks at me with that smirk of his. I don't know if he finds that endearing or annoying, lol.

I am too much of a perfectionist when it comes to a lot of stuff.

I am a crossword fanatic,so I have crossword puzzles in just
about every room in the house.This drives my wife nuts,for
her,everything has a place.When I come home from work all
the puzzles are neatly piled on the end table,by nights end all
the puzzles are scattered all over the house again.

I say "Wait, wait, wait" or "no, no, no" in a panicked rush - and it's never in ones or twos, but threes.. and I think this grinds his gears but he won't say so..

I say "I don't know" a lot when refraining from saying something that I really want to. It usually takes a couple of tries to get me to talk about issues.

I don't have a mate, but if I did I am sure he would be annoyed by many things I do.

Note: Since I'm single i'm kinda like my own mate, so I put something i do that annoys myself.

I make odd things for dinner sometimes, like pancakes.

I don't fill up my gas tank until it's on E

I'm always turning the heater up (then he comes by and turns it down, then I go back and turn it up again, etc)

I hide the remote control when I'm trying to watch something, otherwise he will be flipping channels the whole time.

I'm sure there are lots more...

I'm actually surprised your relationship has lasted as long as it has... not to say anything negative about either of you, but long distance relationships must be really hard... you both must have alot of patience.  I'm happy for both of you though!

I often wonder if I say something too harsh if it will drive him away. Yet, sometimes he can be blunt with his words, so all I'm doing is giving back a form of retaliation, lol.

I apparantly tickle him a lot (not on purpose)...it's just that he is extremely ticklish..and everytime I touch his arm....he starts yelling at me for tickling him! LOL! :D

I probably bother him too much about cutting his hair. For some reason, I remember the dates he gets it cut, and right when the 3rd month hits, it's like "Okay, time to get a chop" and he'll retort "Naw, it's only been three weeks" lol.

Yesterday he had to sit me down and say that my anger towards people's everyday tics (I was going on aboutmy co-worker's inability to keep food in her mouth as she talked!!!!!) was unwarranted.  That I can't expect everyone to be perfect and that he hopes I can do something to get over it.

Another thing I do that annoys him (but I do it on purpose because he's NOTORIOUS for doing it ;)) is try to finish his sentences for him or butt in when he's telling a story.

I tend to be lazy sometimes when she tells me to get a job application to fill out,I bring it home and throw it in the garbage but I lie to her and I tell her that I've already filled it out.She still thinks that 1 day a week isn't satisfying to her.I don't know what is. ::)

If he asks what I was to do or where I want to eat I reply "It doesn't matter" or "I don't care".  It drives him crazy but really, it doesn't matter, usually I'm just so happy to get out of the house (I'm a stay at home mom).  We could go to Burger King or McDonalds and I'd be happy...at least I didn't have to cook.

I don't get over-excited or seem upset when things go wrong.  I"m very calm and I can even laugh through trouble..as long as the problem gets solved.
He hates this.  I can understand it too.  When you're very upset and someone is calm and smiling? I know its annoying..but being aggravated and angry doesn't help.

I agree. For the most part, I never throw a hissy fit when plans go awry. I'm up to change and detours.

Aside from when I have a cleaning binge, I tend to be messy.  I'm trying to change that, but it's just a fact and here's why:

Due to my mild ADD, if I'm in the middle of a project, I have to leave it out.  If I don't see it, I'll forget I'm doing it and just move on to something else.  This results in a house with lots of little piles.  He hated that.

Don't worry, it doesn't sound like you had much of a problem - it was more him... Luckily, my boyfriend and I are both pack rats to an extent - and I forgive him for it because then that leaves him room to forgive my little messes (and tons of magazines, lol)

I have taken to hiding Brendan's piles.  I know there is nothing he really needs in there and he just wants to save things.

Thanks.. sometimes the things that drive you crazy about someone could be the things you end up missing most.

I'm constantly turning lights off, he'll be in the kitchen and I can tell he's ready to walk out to the living room and I'll turn the light off while he's still in there, just a bad habit I have, I can't stand the lights on when nobody is using the room. Oh, and if I take the trash out, I always forget to put a bag back in the trash can.

Sometimes I'd say I'd do something ("sure, I'll pick up your shirts at the cleaners).  But then a million other things would happen in the next three hours and I'd forget all about the shirts.  Forgetting tasks.
